West Coast Gourmet Pizza

Delivered to our motel. Hubby was too tired to check if it was free or already figured into our bill. Ordered a fajita calzone and Roma spinach pizza, both with wheat crust. They were in good shape when delivered, just not hot. Both served with a side of ranch.

I came on a Friday around 6. There were a good number of people in here. Probably because everywhere else had a long wait since everyone was in town to see Tim McGraw and Faith Hill at Rupp.It was the same reason we came in too. Pies and Pints had a 40 minute wait.Anyway, no line at all. It's not a huge space but they never got slammed.I got a slice of cheese pizza and added a side Caesar salad. The pizza tasted like the kind you'd get from a mall food court. It satisfied because I was hungry but it was definitely not great. The Caesar salad was the star of the show. Very good! You can't mess up Caesar salad. The croutons were also really good. I paid about $6 so it wasn't a bad deal.My friends both got the spaghetti. It was huge! Hot with a ton of noodles and cheese melted all over the top. It also came with two breadsticks. They liked it. It seemed really filling. The breadsticks were definitely a selling point. Soft and warm.Anyway, I'm sure this place is a popular spot for lunch during the weekday. You sure won't be seeing me here though.

I love this place! Pizza is great and it always comes with ranch on the side. One of my favorite pizza places in Lexington. I always get the veggie pizza.

We stumbled in by accident and I'm so glad we did! This pizza is absolutely incredible!! Crust is perfect and veggies are fresh. Plus we love supporting local owned businesses.

This place is the bomb. They give you homemade ranch with your pizzas. The Greek salad with grilled chicken never disappoints. The potato wedges are freshly cut and always a hit with that homemade ranch. You will not be disappointed with anything you order. They have really good homemade breadsticks baked to perfection that aren't too buttery also!! This place truly lives up to their name West Coast GOURMET pizza ...but sheeeesh... gourmet everything really LOVE IT

I ended up here before a UK basketball game because it had the shortest wait of area restaurants. I ordered a slice of pepperoni. It was inexpensive and was the perfect size for me to feel satisfied. I wouldn't call it "gourmet" pizza and it wasn't my favorite pizza in Lexington. But I still liked it and would definitely go back if needing a place to eat in downtown.

Don't order online here. There is a $0.95 fee to ''This small fee helps us develop the new tech and services that keeps pizzerias thriving.'' On a medium supreme pizza, that is a 4.5% surcharge that you get absolutely nothing for in return. Plus they try to add an 18% tip for carry out. Go somewhere else where they respect their customers

Will screw up your order and then not give you a refund. Check your pizza before you leave and don't pay in advance .

Not only does this place live up to its name of authentic west coast pizza, but the price is worth it. From the dough to the toppings, I plan on recommending this place to anyone in Lexington that wants a good slice. Yes, they're expensive, but compared to other pizza places (looking you chain restaurants) there is no better place than this. Staff was really nice and the place itself is quint. All I got was a pizza and I plan on coming back for more.

I ordered a pepperoni calzone online and set the time to pick it up at 8pm. when I arrived they had made a pizza, not a calzone. Without apologizing, they asked me if I would like to wait ten minutes for them to prepare my order correctly. I said yes. After waiting they gave me the calzone. I had ordered pizza sauce and garlic butter, and instead received two containers of a sauce that I had not ordered. I went inside again to receive the correct sauces. Upon arriving to my home, I discovered that the calzone was sausage and not pepperoni. The staff here is an unapologetic mess and I will not visit again.
