It's a good dog park. I have never had a bad experience there. There are two connected paddocks for the dogs to play in. One is smaller than the other. The smaller one also has access to water. For the larger one, you either have to remember to bring your own, carry bowls to the other or send your dog to the smaller paddock to get a drink. Either way, my dog likes to walk the perimeter of the larger paddock as there are plenty of things to smell. There is also nice paved path for walks/runs, an adorable sensory garden for children to enjoy, and a pavilion with some picnic tables. As for bathrooms, there is a porta potty if you absolutely need one.

I come to this dog park when I'm in town and wanting a change of scenery from other dog parks. This park seems to be more cleaner than others, I believe the owners of their dogs have a lot to do with this. As, I've noticed less dog poop is laying around, so kudos to those that actually do pick up after their dogs! Also, I loved the fact that there's a blackberry tree just free flowing it's fruit, one unique thing for sure! Also, many people are cautious about their dogs, which is reassuring versus the dog owners who don't seem to give a care in the world. So I'm happy to review this place that it's safe enough for my fur baby to come here. And we will soon return.

The park itself is nice and relatively well taken care of. However, the people that bring their dogs here have zero dog park etiquette and their dogs don't belong around other dogs. Our 1 year old cattle dog was pinned to the ground by two aggressive German Shepards completely unprovoked. One of them grabbed her by the neck and proceeded to violently shake her. Another day, we watched from a distance as three dogs got into yet another intense altercation while "playing." Safe to say we won't be taking our dog here ever again.

At the time of my visit, Parks & Recreation was doing a water system upgrade, so access to the main park was closed. The alternative site was off to the back right. The location was still wide and open and well maintained. There were a section of trees to the side and all the way in the back. Additionally, there were many other owners and pets there, so it is frequently visited.

Two nice large areas for dogs to go free. Seating on both sides of dog areas and access to fresh drinking water as well. My favorite dog park in Lexington!

Love this dog park. There are always lots of dogs there and have never had any issues with owners paying attention to their dogs. My dog loves this park. There is plenty of room to run and there aren't any areas where she can escape. There is also a nice walking trail. Only complaint is it does get really muddy, more so than that of other parks.

I definitely recommend that you bring your dog and family to this park. There is plenty of space for your puppy to run and play. Every dog that we met was really friendly and so were their owners. My dog had a great time and so did our family. We will definitely be back! What kind of dog do you own??

This is such a beautiful dog park my miniature pinchers definitely enjoyed it. The park is pretty big and clean. If you accidentally forget or run out of poopy bags there's a bag dispenser, which I thought was brilliant (we don't have that in Chicago). Definitely a must go to entertain your fur babies.

It was super nice and close to our side of town which is southwest!! My golden loved it, lots of friendly dogs and room to run! A little muddy today bc of the rain but on a dry week it would be perfect!! So excited to have found this place! Saw another review that said the people were not very friendly but I found that everyone was super friendly and chatty!! Great place for your pup

Small park. It's mainly for dogs as the name suggests. Walking trails are clean and nicely kept. They even have the poop baggies on hand in case you left yours at home.
