Waters Edge Winery & Bistro of Etown

Went for Sunday brunch and sat outside on their nice patio. They have lots of seating inside and a nice bar too. Our server was really nice and gave us some recommendations on what to order. We started with the mimosa pitchers which is a great deal and very refreshing on a beautiful day! I ordered the build your own breakfast platter. It was good and filling. My daughter got the steak and egg Benedict flatbread, and she said it was just okay. Others in our party got the breakfast flatbread, and they said that it was really good. They have a good selection of wines, so I got a bottle of the Pino to take home. It is a good Pinot Grigio.

Really impressed with this spot, great service, great food, and great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for any time of day, any meal. If you're in Elizabethtown it's the best kept secret. Oh and very affordable too.

I have been here several times and I have thoroughly enjoyed each one. We've come mainly for the food and the trivia, which sounds very silly typing this out in a review for a winery. The trivia was a lot of fun! It was music trivia, that played songs that changed every so often. The emcee was great and made it really interactive. As for food, we've tried the Caesar salad, the chicken salad sandwich, and the turkey panini. The menu doesn't look like much, I wish there was more variety, but each of the items we've tried have been really well and thoughtfully executed. I can't wait to try all the other items on the menu. I'm addition to the wine! At a winery!! Duh!The space itself is super expansive! And very clean. Really a nice atmosphere. The staff is fantastic as well. I extremely appreciate them being on Etown and doing something different! Truly a joy to patronize.

This is a fairly new winery and bistro in Elizabethtown located in the downtown area. There is private parking available. I happened to be here on a Tuesday evening and the place was actually empty with the exception of a few people sitting outside in the front. Getting prompt service was no problem. I opted to sit at the bar area beings it was just me. They had decent happy hour specials I believe it was half off apps. I did the Ravioli and of course a wine tasting. Can't really pick a favorite wine because really they were all good but, this Ravioli happens to be the best I have had yet and I'm impressed beings this is a winery and bistro. Someone from the kitchen came out and asked how my ravioli was and of course I said it was the best I ever had, he thanked me and proceeded to have a conversation about have I ever been here and the wines. Typically I'm not used to some employees being chatty not that I'm against it, I believe it was because the place was not busy. The good deals they have here I'm surprised they weren't more busy than what they were. Definitely love the inside of this place and they have a private room for parties. This is definitely a place I would come to when visiting Elizabethtown.

I would like to start by saying this place has amazing potential! I ordered the chicken & waffle(s).. a very well seasoned chicken breast served on a waffle. The waffle was a little tuff. If possible I would love to substitute for pancakes. I would definitely eat the chicken as a sandwich as well. My mom ordered the breakfast burger. She said it was good! It was served with a side of fries. They would be good if they were deep fried. The only downside to the side Caesar salad was the dressing was too thick for my liking. It was not a traditional caesar dressing. The drinks were good! The bottomless Mimosas was a nice shareable size. I would definitely recommend this place. It is a beautiful venue!

Great food - the wings are OUTSTANDING!!!! Go Buffalo all the way. Wine also amazing! We did a flight of 5 and we really enjoyed 4/5... nice place for sure and great staff.

We had reservations on 12/2 @ 11:00 to meet other family members for holiday brunch. Drove from Louisville & reservations were verified online by restaurant. We walked in & were told they are closed for a party. Manager keptedsaying that they were closed & did not offer any compensation for their mistake. Very disappointed!!!

The owner was friendly and attentive. Our party enjoyed the wines, but the food was stellar. The prosciutto and fig flat bread is one of the best things I've eaten. Perfectly layered flavors. 10/10!

So disappointed in the whole experience at the mother's day brunch!!! We waited over an hour for our food, all of the people sitting at the other tables were complaining too! Finally, we asked our server how long will we have to Wait for our food and she went to the kitchen and came and told us that the breakfast charcuterie boards would be out in five minutes and my salmon would be out in ten minutes......welp! In at least ten minutes ( after over an hour wait) she brought the food to my husband and mom and I was so hungry that I ate some of their food! The French toast, sausage, and bacon were fine, but the scrambled eggs were very overcooked and the bowl of fruit was a slice of watermelon! I then called the server over and told her to cancel my salmon order and take it off my ticket because my family had shared their food with me and they were just about finished, and about 8 minutes later that young lady had the nerve to bring me that PLATE OF SALMON!!! She said "here it is they had it ready" and I said NO, MY FAMILY IS DONE AND I TOLD YOU TO TAKE IT OFF MY TICKET!! Then the young lady said "are you sure???" Do you want a to-go box?? And I said NO! I waited over an hour for my food, and the idea was for my family to eat TOGETHER and asked for the ticket! The young lady then apologized, and said " they didn't plan the event very well! I gave her a tip ( because none of this was her fault!!) And we left!! Now I will say, we have eaten there many many times, and never had a problem, the food was great and their wine is amazing! Today seemed to be just a series of unfortunate events! And I will visit the restaurant again!BB
