Waldo's Chicken and Beer

It was our first time there. I don't think they gave enough fried pickles. The onion rings were good. They have a wide variety of sauces. I feel like they cut 1 chicken tender and slice it down the middle to make 2 out of 1. Nice way to make a bigger profit. The potato wedges were decent. They have tons of big screen tvs for sports watching. The shoestring fries were supposed to be extra well done but were soggy so they cooked another batch to redeem themselves. Kendra our waitress was wonderful. Their banana pudding was great. One of the best I ever tasted. They give 15% military discount. A little pricey. Their coleslaw was decent and sweet. Their side salad is really small. In Norton commons.Will give them another try.

The tea is watered down. The temperature inside was very cold. And then the food arrived. It went downhill. The chicken tenders are tiny. The side was also tiny. This would be great if I was an eight-year-old and I just wanted a snack. I'm not an eight-year-old. I did not want a snack. I will now be going across the street to CM Chicken to get a second lunch. Boooo. Snack chicken! Booooo!Two stars because it tasted good ...you know the two bites I had.

Nice place , good service.. Food was definitely a let down thought after all the photos on there website but really no good but comparedTo Canes I guess they spokedspoiled me . The 1/2 Fried chicken was hot but full of grease and not much meat the Mac / cheese dry sit under a flood light about a day to long , the greens were ok and the pickles under cooked .. waitresses were fine but food quality definitely a let down just the truth ...

We visited here on a Saturday evening and around dinner time. We watch college football games on their big TVs. The atmosphere is a five out of five for sure. I love the sports bar. Service was OK. I had to go get my own drinks a couple times which was kind of annoying, but I don't mind doing it, they're really crowded but they weren't really crowded so. Food was just OK it's a two. I'd say the best thing about this place is the atmosphere and the location. Chicken tenders were just subpar to be honest I wish I could say better but they weren't chicken biscuits were the best thing I will say they were the only great thing that we had.

I stopped in at Waldo's for my first time there during Louisville's Wing Week! I went shortly after opening, and had my puppy with me, so we sat at one of their nice patio tables with umbrellas. My server was very attentive! The inside looked nice with a ton of tv options, which would be great for a sports event. I ordered the wings from the wing special - 6 wings for $8. I had the wings tossed in buffalo sauce with a side of ranch and blue cheese. I also ordered a side of fries and a sweet tea. Everything came out pretty quickly which is nice if you are there on a work lunch or something. The wings were perfectly cooked and nicely sauced. The buffalo had a nice kick, but not overly spicy! Love the seasoning on the fries. I loved the sweet tea - perfect amount of sweet! There are several other menu items that I need to go back to try that sounded yummy!

We got off to a rough start but toughed through it patiently and had a pleasant meal. We arrived at 5:00 to zero clean outside tables and 3 confusing interactions in regards to who was seating us, if we could sit outside, and who was waiting on us. Once we got everything figured out, the food was good. Maybe they were slammed busy and everyone cleared out just before we arrived.Appetizers: fried cauliflower and biscuitsI ordered the 1/2 chicken rotisserie with buffalo sauce and two sides of collared greens.She ordered 3 chicken strips with side of wedges, and a buffalo chicken salad (she said it was tremendous)In our opinion, this is more of a lunch stop than for dinner. But keep in mind we didn't drink alcohol and were food hunting only.

You have to be in the mood for chicken! Although they do have salads as well. The cheddar biscuits, onion rings and chicken tenders are good. The fries are so thin and salty, so I'd opt for another side. (Wish they had a side salad)Quickly seated. Lots of indoor seating and some on the patio. Beers on tap plus several other drink options. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Service was fine. Bathrooms were a mess and floors felt a little slippery/greasy. This wouldn't be my first choice for a meal in Norton Commons.

This place was great. Our server Alex was excellent. Chicken and Beer, you can't go wrong. I wish we made it early for Trivia.

I went a couple of weeks after the opening and ordered a sampling of the menu. I had high hopes, considering their selection of sauces and the menu. This was an entirely disappointing experience. The fries were overcooked and too crispy to eat. It was way overpriced for what you get. They appear to be trying to emulate Raising Cane's, but they aren't close to being on that level. The tenders were surprisingly small, compared to Cane's. Their mac&cheese wasn't even as good as Chick-Fil-A and my mom makes better banana pudding than this.I haven't been back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have no idea what this store is trying to be, but we would have been better off if this had stayed a Captain D's as intended.

Fast food, just fair food, with a Bar. Too expensive for what it is. The Chicken was marginal, the service was fast and the place was clean. No real atmosphere
