Wagon Bones BBQ

Meant to post this last month! Apologies, I have to say wagon bones bbq is hands down one of the best bbq places I have ever been to. The food quality was legit mouth watering. I highly recommend the pulled pork Sammich! And the Cole slaw was legit in every way! The owner also took our order and helped us on food options that are good and let us know what was sold out! The ambiance was excellent! The sights really made it feel like an old school bbq spot. Something not many places are like!

Such a fun local stop in the middle of horse and bourbon country. The food was terrific & the setting was charming. The food is hand-crafted so service isn't quick. Bottled water comes with your meal. No alcohol.

Small little place with great food. Ran out of a lot by 2pm. We were only able to have the pulled pork, would have liked to have tried the brisket.

I was in town for work and was recommended to stop by. Fantastic atmosphere, nice charm, friendly owner (at least I think he was the owner) and I had one of the best BBQ sandwiches I've ever had! I had the BBQ sandwich, slaw and baked beans. Seriously, it was one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. There was also a side of BBQ sauce in the plate...when I tell you the sauce was boss, it was something special. I'll definitely be back to this spot when I'm back in town.

Damn good local southern BBQ. Don't pass this place up. Outdoor seating or to go.Fast, great flavor, nice staff / owners.

Yummy! BBQ chicken sandwich w/ slaw. Hubby had brisket sandwich w/ potato salad. The BBQ sauces was amazing!

UNFORTUNATELY I forgot to take pictures of this lunch!Wagon Bones BBQ in downtown Versailles, KY, has a nice menu with all the typical BBQ items. Normally I wouldn't review a business until I've been there at least 3 times, however, I am absolutely POSITIVE that I will be dining with them many more times so here's my initial review:I got a half rack of ribs, homemade cole slaw, and baked beans for a late lunch. The ribs were quite good & even though I don't normally eat anything but baby back ribs I was impressed with these. They were tender and the smokiness was not overbearing. Beans were delicious. The cole slaw was out of this world. Bone licking good! The slaw.... Wow. Got some to go! Ribs and Pulles pork were delicious. Baked beans are sweet and tangy. Great stop for lunch on the bourbon trail!

Fabulous BBQ! Great little out of the way place with happy staff and great food! Definitely worth a stop!

Brisket sandwich was melting in your mouth. Awesome inside, could have been an antique store before. Hope to make it back
