Great location, plenty of seating, excellent service. Live music on weekend evenings, though we were there mid-day on a Saturday. Excellent beer selection. Recommend Rock Castle Common if you like a bourbon finish. Not overpowering. Had the pizza and it was good, but lacking sauce which was another comment I made when reviewing another pizza place down the street. I find it strange but maybe sauce less pizza is a thing? Regardless, this was a great spot for lunch, to have a beer, or dinner. Family friendly. Great place to watch a game. Will return.

We really enjoyed this place! Good bar food! We will come back. I got a grilled ham and cheese that wasn't even on the menu and it was excellent. I look forward to coming next time.

Great food . Plenty of booths and tables. Next time I will do a beer tasting. Serice is great, friendly and helpful. I do recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

After a day at the track and way back home we looked at Yelp for a place for a bite to eat.We seen Versailles Brewing. It located in a strip mall area ( possibly a Home Depot or Kroger's used to be that area. It appears the brewery has one of the smaller spaces when you drive in. Coming up to the door there were 2 picnic tables ( thought that might be outdoor seating ) but upon opening the door it opens to a very spacious room. We were greeted by the host and asked for outdoor seating and she took us on a little walk to the back of the building; it opens up to this huge beer garden in the back. We sat at the bar; the sun shining and bartender was welcoming; her name Jenna. She was really good at what she does and made sure everyone was taken care of. We looked at the beer list and seen some not so familiar beers so we get to try something new.I chose a Break Maiden and Common Bond Kentucky Common Ale. Both were delicious and would have loved to try some of the others as well. Very interesting brews.We ordered appetizer of wings 1/2 Thai chili and 1/2 bbq; both excellent taste!Main order was Ruben sandwich and Stinger burger baskets. A lot to eat so couple of goodies to take home.The burger had a nice blend of ingredients and blended well with each other: Mayo, blue cheese, bacon, spring mix, tomato and pickle w/ 1/2 lb burgerThe Ruben was tasty and nice sized sandwich.This location is an incredible find hidden off the main path.Totally recommend stopping here!Kind of can't wait to go back to try a few other brews and food. Hope you get Jenna as bartender.

A great local spot! I'm from Versailles and it's nice to see they have a great spot for good beer and food that's local. I've been a couple times but went again recently and was really pleased. I had the cold brew common and was blown away-- a delicious coffee beer that was light and refreshing. Also had the cowboy burger with mac n cheese-- every bite was gone. Full of flavor and filling! The place was clean and family friendly, and our waiter was very kind and knowledgeable. Great experience, I highly recommend!

Exceptional service by Shelby who changed the TV so I could watch the Ravens game. Nice beer selection, but only one IPA. Delicious nachos with shredded chicken. Nice restaurant and bar.

based on other reviews i hope we just had a one off bad experience. we were in town from cincinnati and like to try to eat local. our food just wasn't good, the burger had no flavor other than being salted to death. the kids pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. our waitress brought our food and then sat across from us behind the bar on her phone the entire time and never even asked how it was.

Food was amazing!! Ambiance was something very nice that wasn't expected! They have their own brewery and so many selections of beer and mixed drinks! Siera was our waitress and she was nothing but phenomenal! Being from West Texas, we had no idea how to even pronounce the town name correctly. She laughed with us, visited with us and made our entire visit great!! Highly, highly recommend!!

This place has kind of a hidden feel to it. The place is very clean, and the sound level is average. It provde a excellent escape from the every day fast food franchise type resteranut. The Pretzel and beer cheese are the best around Lexington/Versallies area. The fellow patrons and the staff are super friendly, The brewery offer many excellent choices. The steak is non hormone and free from antibiotics and was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I had the fries and Macn cheese. The Mac is always a issue in restruants as not being prepared just right. This was a perfect Al Dente and the sause was of the right balance of consitency between being to runny and to thick. They have a wide variety of dessert options, I perfer th Porter Chochlate cake, but they have so many good options it is hard to decided. This has to be on the stop list when passing thru.
