Vafa Cakery

I stopped in to try Turkish coffee for the first time. It was such a lovely experience from start to finish! The coffee was delicious and was served in the traditional way with a sweet treat (in this case baklava). Vafa is the owner of Vafa Cakery and her pastries are out of this world. If you are looking for a relaxing escape from the ordinary, stop in and try some Turkish coffee with one of her sweets. You will not be disappointed!

A breath of fresh air in the coffee scene of Lexington . Located on Virginia avenue Vafa Cakery and NuHealth cafe is the new hidden gem in Lexington . Vafa the master baker is excellent at her craft. For many many years she perfected the art of baking for birthdays and especial occasions and now she has brought her craft for the public to enjoy. The coffee shop is a relaxed environment with modern decor and some of the best coffee beverages and healthy shakes and pastries in town. I had the Affogato and pistachio cupcake today and it was out of this world. Friendly staff and delicious food and pastries and coffee is a great combination for a relaxing moment in our busy everyday lives. Very close to UK Hospital and the campus

One of the best cake and coffee you can have in Midwest. Very nice coffee shop . I would recommend this place. Cake was great specially cake in jar.
