Upland Brewing - Jeffersonville

I'd come back for the Ron Swanson pizza alone! It's a straightforward pizza, much like the namesake character on the TV show Parks and Recreation. It's stone-fired, with ham, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and marinara sauce. It's also gluten-free, which I didn't know when I ordered, but it was very tasty and I could not tell that it didn't have gluten in it. I'm not gluten-free in the slightest, but it's good to know that someone who eats gluten-free will find a tasty pizza here. They have a lot of options on the kids menu -- everything from pork tenderloin sliders to mac & cheese and fish & chips. The kids' cheeseburger (Boomer's Favorite Cheeseburger) is the perfect size for a kid, and comes with your choice of fries or fruit. Get the fries, because they are delicious.Along with a wood-fired pizza, I got a side Caesar salad, which was good. The ingredients were tossed in the dressing, like they should be.The dining room overlooks the Ohio River, with big windows everywhere. During the warmer months, you can also sit on the patio. We visited during the winter, though, so no patio seating. But it did look like they had some igloos.The service was great. I liked our early-20s skater server wearing a Supreme hat. He was very chill.

Disclaimer: We've used Upland a few times for lunch takeout at work, so I can't comment on the location, only the food itself.I can highly recommend the turkey and guac sandwich, as well as their salads. For the sandwich they use top-notch ingredients, and it's a great, tasty combination. The salads are fresh, crisp and refreshing. I have also tasted their beer-battered fries and they are awesome! Other coworkers like the fish and chips, the bison burger and their pizzas. (I want to try their Margarita, which is usually my favorite pizza.)Bottom line--their food is delicious and travels well for takeout. We keep going back for more!

We recently visited Upland Brewery, and it was a memorable experience. The atmosphere felt incredibly trendy, with modern decor and a lively vibe creating a great setting. The views were a definite highlight, offering a fantastic backdrop to enhance the experience.The service, while not standout, was adequate. Staff were polite and attentive enough, though it lacked an extra touch to elevate it to excellent. Prices leaned on the higher side compared to what I'm used to, but they weren't unreasonable, especially considering the quality of the location and ambiance.Overall, Upland Brewery is worth a visit, especially if you're seeking a stylish place to relax with friends or enjoy a scenic brew. While it may not be your go-to for budget-friendly nights, the trendy atmosphere and views make it a worthwhile splurge.

Nice spot right on the river! Large dining room and bar area inside. Visited in winter so the outdoor bar and patio wasn't open, but walking around it looked like the summer would provide an amazing view and dining experience. Beer is good, food is well prepared and came out pretty quickly. Pricing is surprisingly friendly! Great little spot!

Enjoyed a nicely-timed leisurely dinner here at 5 PM on a Saturday. We chose this location prior to heading across the river to the Yum Center for a ticketed event later. Service was fine. The noise level was mild. The views were excellent and the large glass doors at the back of restaurant overlooking the Ohio River had been pushed fully open. I ordered a Turkey and avocado salad with an orange ginger vinaigrette. It was the perfect size and amount for a light dinner without feeling stuffed. Plan to return soon.

Good food, good vibes and good beer. Nuff said. All the things a man needs in one place.

Beautiful weather last night, lots of great outdoor seating overlooking the river! Indoors they had a big doorway area open to the deck letting in fresh air and sunshine. The service was a bit slow but very friendly and accurate orders. My husband ordered the cod platter with fries and both were perfectly crispy and delish! He added a small side of their mac n cheese based on its unique menu description and we both liked the flavor profile. I ordered smoked wings extra crispy with the sauce on the side and these were the best wings I've had anywhere in a long time (& this week is Wings Week in Louisville but I'm not sure if anywhere will beat these across the bridge!). Crispy as ordered on the outside, nice dry rubbed flavor kick, very meaty and juicy chicken on the inside, truly wings perfection for me... I'm picky! Then... there were some garnishes, some carrots and then 3-4 wide cut pickle circles on the plate. Being a pickle fanatic I definitely wasn't leaving these despite being very full from just the wings. Holy pickle heavens these had to be homemade with the unique brine, somewhat sweet and a little bit of heat in the first bites. Still thinking about how good they were a day later, wonder if they sell them?! I'd come back even just for the pickles but we both liked our meals. They offer a brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday so maybe we'll return for the views & brunch!

We love upland. The views are great and staff have always been fast and friendly. Their whipped feta appetizer and egg rolls are phenomenal and full of flavor. I almost always order a flatbread which are full of flavor and a great price. Only thing that would make this place better is a tastier ranch dressing.

Three of us for Louisville Burger Week lunch.I really, really want to like this place. BUT lunch was anything but stellar. We were the first party seated after their opening. We ordered an appetizer and drinks. They arrived as expected and the appetizer was good. Each of us ordered the Burger Week Special, Bad Elmer's plus fries. The burger is $7 and fries were an additional $4. As we waited for our food, several parties were seated around us. We waited, and waited while watching every one around us received their food. Finally after waiting approximately 45 minutes I flagged down our waiter and inquired about our order. About 10 minutes later we were approached by I'm guessing the manager. He didn't introduce himself. He apologized and explained the mix up. Another 10 minutes later our food came out. By this time we had been there almost 90 minutes and all the tables around us had eaten, paid and left.Now the food. The Bad Elmer's Burger was just OK, nothing special. It was supposed to have Bad Elmer's BBQ sauce on it. If they had any it was negligible and the burgers were dry. The highlight of the meal were the fries which were hot and crispy.For our trouble we were not charged for our appetizer or two non alcoholic drinks.The real problem I have is that we had been waiting a minimum of 45 minutes without our order and no one addressed it until I flagged down our server. Had I not flagged him down, we may still be sitting there waiting!

First time here. The weather was great so we decided to sit outside. There was a nice breeze while we ate. I would have given this a five star review because the food was actually really good, but the service was not. The server was not very attentive. We were halfway through our food before one of the main dishes came out because they forgot to bring it. The server never came and checked on us for over 30 minutes so when we received our food so she wasn't aware that one of the main dishes hadn't come out. It was hard to get her attention as we had to flag down someone else. The fish & chips were excellent. The ceasar salad was great! Everyone enjoyed the pizzas as well. We were quite satisfied w/ our food & atmosphere. Unfortunately the service was horrible. They were not that busy.
