We were only in town for one night and found this place online and it looked amazing so we decided to give it a try. The place is enormous. Huge outdoor area with multiple tents and firepits, where you can even draw the sides to enclose it for privacy or warmth. All sorts of table games and cornhole. A great scene to behold. Really very pretty.Inside has multiple hightops, arcades, bar seating and TVs, a cool place. The staff was attentive and inviting. We sat at the bar, had a drink, and service was great.The only drawback is that the place was completely empty! There was one tent outside with people (sides were closed), but aside from that we were the only people there. It was lightly snowing and this was the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so maybe that was a factor? Too bad because the place seems fun. We will give it another chance if we are back in the area

Union Game Yard is a really cool concept and space - lots of cool spaces, games, and music! It's dog and group friendly with cabanas you can rent (and reasonable rates!).That being said, it was super loud - hard to chat with friends without shouting, tons of kids running around unsupervised earlier in the evening (not the venues fault - and I love kids, but it was a little stressful). The food was good and reasonably priced but I felt the cocktails were pricey.Service was good - lots of attentive people, and the lady at the indoor bar was fun to chat with! Like coming to this place; had family get together and had fun with drinks and games and nice outdoor seating.Bartender was nice and cordial and speedy.We didn't eat here, somewhat limited menu, but the place is great to hang out at.

I have been here before for drinks but had not tried the food yet, glad I gave it a try. If you haven't been here yet, it doubles as a restaurant and a place to hang out and drink. Lots of interactive games that you can play outdoors and indoors. A day like the day I went were it's not too warm or cold outside is perfect to hang out here. I had the Pub tots. It was tater tot style nachos with pulled pork, beer cheese, and fried onions. I'm normally skeptical of getting items like that for an entree since I think sometimes restaurants will not use the best quality on nacho type dishes, but I'm glad I did. It was fantastic. The ingredients were quality and piping warm. Additionally the service was great. Our server was very prompt and always around. I will definitely be back, easy 5 star review!

Came here with peers recently. We had a private space under the cabana. We had a buffet style section stocked with items to make sliders that included pretzel slider buns, beef patties, pulled chicken, condiments, sweet potato fries, and cookies. There was also a container of pasta salad. The food was decent. The games in the GameYard were fun! Our server was awesome, very attentive and kind. This space was great for a large group. I would return and recommend to others.

I am part of this women networking group called the Beauty Boost and they hosted a vision board night. Unfortunately, I arrived late but really liked the vibe in there and the area where we made the vision boards. I can't wait to come back in the summer and explore the patio area! I got the bacon hot dog and fries which was good, too.

First time visiting this place. We went in the early afternoon on a Sunday, so it was not crowded. Nice atmosphere. Basic sports bar vibe inside. Fun and comfortable outdoor seating.They have cabanas for larger groups of people. The cabana next to us had a television, which I found to be pretty cool.We were sat at our table quickly. Greeter did not ask if we wanted outside or inside seating. Luckily we were sat outside near a misting fan. I was worried there might be a bunch of loud children running around since it's a kid friendly place. I was happy to see only a few children. They have lots of different games to play (bocce, cornhole, table tennis, etc.). Food was good. Limited vegetarian options. Had the black bean burger and sweet potato fries, both were very good. Was asked if I wanted a side of honey dipping sauce, but was not told it would cost more. It was only $1, but would have preferred knowing in advance it was an extra cost. When asked if we wanted a large or small beer, we instinctively said large. Had no idea it would be a massive 32oz beer in a plastic cup. The plastic cup was a challenge to hold with one hand. Next time I will get a small beer.Prices were higher than expected. $75 before tip for two people to have lunch. The bathroom was clean. Had trouble exiting the larger bathroom stall because the other stall's door was blocking my door. Had to use my foot to close the other door before I could exit. There were no hand towels. I recommend grabbing a napkin before going to the bathroom to use for pulling open the door to leave the restroom. I did not see any gender neutral bathrooms.I appreciated having a napkin dispenser at the table. Music was good, upbeat pop hit classics. There was a parking lot across the street. It was pretty full so not sure how challenging parking would be on a busy weekend night.We would go back again.

Several things to live about Union Restaurant & Game House. First, of course is the remarkable selection of games to keep both grownups and kids occupied. Pool, Pinball, Ping Pong, outdoor "beer" pong, hula hoops and bean bag toss to name a few. Second, the service. We had a terrific server~stay awesome Morgan. Attentive, cheerful, sweet. Someone who really loves her job. The kitchen is t as speedy as Morgan, but that's fine, the food was hot & fresh. Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Burgers were top notch. Served medium with a juicy pink center, served with warm, but not crispy fries. The dog was excellent. The kids sliders very good. The burrito bowls and salads? A bust. That's the breakdown. For a healthier alternative, more attention is needed. The burrito bowls were 80% white rice with some lettuce tomatoes and chicken added. But the rice dominated. The chicken Caesar salad was a complete dud. If you're looking for fun, cold beer and solid burgers & sandwiches, Union Restaurant is for you. For a salad when everyone else is munching on burgers, there's not much for hungry rabbits to enjoy.

We stumbled across this place the other day. Since wed just eaten, we just ordered drinks. My Violet Vibes was really tasty- I'd definitely recommend it! Our server, Grace, was super sweet and accommodating. I love that the outside area is kid and dog friendly and these there is lots of self serve water available for pups and people.
