Union Mills Confectionery

First, the people here were super nice to us! My husband desperately needed to use a bathroom and after stopping 3 other places with no public restroom they were very kind to him. Now, onto the treats! We live 2 hours from here, so I won't be a regular customer, but I will make a point to stop anytime I am in the area. I ordered 2 cupcakes, a brownie, a cinnamon roll, and a pecan roll. The brownie and the pecan roll were good, but not really our style. The cupcakes were absolutely amazing! I will be getting cupcakes every time! The cake was so moist and fluffy and the icing was perfect. I am what I would call a cupcake afficianado (I can't spell LOL) and I love a good cupcake. Many places try to do cupcakes - but few truly succeed. This place has nailed it. Well done!! I can't wait to get more cupcakes in the future!I ate the cupcake so I have no picture LOL

A wonderful family owned bakery. The smell when you walk in the door is incredible and the ladies are extremely friendly (regardless of what the bad review says, she's clearly one of those that can't be pleased). The review that says the woman was "rude" is almost laughable, I don't think Debbie or Charity (the sisters that own it) have a rude bone in their body! The iced cookies are wonderful as are the cakes. I've actually never had a bad thing there.Take it from me, I have frequently patronized Union Mills for over 15 years, it's a wonderful place. The women that work here are so incredibly kind. Cookies are always fresh and delicious. Meant to take a picture of the chocolate truffle cookie fresh out of the oven but I was too excited to eat it. A must try for all!

Delicious baked goods and wonderful customer service. The iced sugar cookies are DELICIOUS!

This place never disappoints. Even walking in the door you are greeted with heavenly scents and warm smiles and the cakes are to die for. I've yet to find a bakery that can light a candle to their cakes.

Union Mills is my go to bakery. Their baked goods are delicious and customer service excellent. All family events would not be the same if we did not have something from Union Mills. My grandchildren love the sugar cookies for all occasions. I would highly recommend this bakery.

Poor poor customer service. Ordered a cake for a graduation, the writing on it was terrible. The 8 in 2018 wasn't even round. Asked nicely for it to be fixed some how. Didn't even get an apology at first. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and acted like she didn't care. I get cookies from there all the time until they changed ovens. (They taste more burnt now :( ) and always get my cakes from there. Not anymore. As a small business they should understand that if a customer isn't happy you try to make it right and I understand that some people you just can't make happy. I'm not one of those people. I just wanted the writing on the cake to look presentable. There are many great bakeries in Scioto county. I would highly recommend one of them instead.
