WOW! Yelp is never wrong when a place shows up as having 5 stars!I was in the area and wanting to get some ice cream to go. I looked up ice cream shops on Yelp and this one came up so I decided to give it a try.As soon as I walked in I said "omg this is so cute!". I felt like I had gone back in time. Needless to say I decided to actually sit down and enjoy my ice cream inside the parlor.I was greeted by a really nice girl who asked if I had been there before and when I said I hadn't, she walked me through the menu. You can try up to 3 options which is good because it is so hard to choose! I decided to do the Kitty Kitty Bang Bang ice cream and it was delicious!When I paid I got a frequent shopper card which I was glad because I will definitely be back! Such nice service!

I haven't been in years since around the time they opened! And I am so sad I missed so many years of having their amazing ice cream. Came with my son and the decor is still adorable! They have SOOOO many unique flavors. I tried the blackberry lemon bar and the banana cream pie. I was stuck between these two. I ended up with the banana cream pie and it was so worth it. Their ice cream is soooo yummy!!! They have different options for different diets. They also sell to go pints of their flavors. I forgot to take pictures and we destroyed the ice cream. We have such an amazing gem here in New Albany and everyone should head there!!

This shop has the best vegan/dairy free ice cream I've ever eaten. I travel across the US often and tried several dairy free ice creams. Uncommon's ice cream texture is smooth and creamy and the flavors are so satisfying!! The shop is cute and the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this place!

We are from out of town and looking for a sweet treat after dinner. The ice cream wasn't too sweet and the flavor options made it do everyone in the group could find something they liked. There were even dairy free options! The staff was so friendly and allowed us to taste a few before having to make a final decision. The shop is very warm and inviting. If we had a cooler we would be taking some pints how with us.

I'm never on this side of the bridge so my knowledge of anything in Indiana is very slim. Me and my daughter were over there and she desperately wanted ice cream.Seemed a bit cold to attempt Zesto for the first time. I happened to find Uncommon Cups and Cones on Yelp. The main draw? Indoor seating. Once you walk it you are welcomed by a very eclectic setting with a few tables and plenty of chairs. The staff working was all very friendly and answered all of my dumb questions. I went with the girl who was worki g's choice of Yippee Skippy. Super legit. Recommend for sure. My daughter order Matcha and gobbled it right up. Took some oat milk pack cherry home for my wife, and yup, it's good too.They offer a lot of ice cream options I've never seen...ice cream nachos! They had waffle cone chips, so the idea is definitely intriguing.Would go back again.

This place is all my dreams come true! Such a cute little shop and the ice cream flavors are out of this world. I got a scoop of kitty kitty bang bang and my husband got a brownie sundae. I kid you not, we have both found our new favorite desserts. We have since told all of our friends about this place and we can't wait to walk here during the summer.

We were looking for a different place to have a dessert and we happened on this place. The way they sever their ice cream in different cups and bowels was a neat touch. The cappuccino ice was delish and we were all happy with our choices.

While on vacation, visiting the grandkids, we stumbled upon this unique ice cream shop. The owners, greet each visitor to their shop. They have 28 flavors, most very unique. We tried two of them, Zoreo, chocolate with swirled marshmallow, Oreo's and chocolate chunk. Also, Mackinac Island Fudge, vanilla ice cream, chocolate fudge ripple, and chunks of chocolate fudge. We recommend these or any of their other unique flavors. They also offer the traditional vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Any of their flavors can be made into a milk shake, sundae's or even a banana split. The shop is decorated uniquely with off set table and chairs with a welcoming vibe. If your in the area, stop by, say hi and enjoy a wonderful ice cream experience.

We had a blast celebrating my nieces birthday at Uncommon Cups and Cones. They had all the classic flavors but also a big selection of decadent twists like fat Elvis, kitty kitty bang bang and "exhausted parent" The room upstairs was perfect for a small group of 10-15 kids. 10/10 quality, service and kitsch! This place is a gem you'll be glad you stopped in to visit.
