Ume Craft Ramen

Happened to pass by this spot and thought we would give it a try! Very nice clean modern decor! Subtle R&B playing nothing overwhelming. Could still have great conversation. The waitress was very attentive and very helpful!The food was delicious! Just very tasty. I had the tonkotsu ramen with a side of crispy chicken. My husband had the Shoyu ramen with a side of pork buns. Highly recommend this restaurant. The tonkontsu was creamy ,the shoyu was rich with a light saltiness. This is my new go-to ramen spot!

I was craving Asian food and wanted to go somewhere with easy parking on a weekend night. They only had a few tables in at 9pm on Saturday, which was prefect.My college student opted for the chicken teriyaki bowl, which comes with miso soup, and a strawberry and banana smoothie. She enjoyed both. She actually finished the smoothie and said it was the best one she's ever had.I ordered edamame and pork buns. Edamame was standard, salted edamame, but a good portion. The pork buns were tasty. They are an app, so they are pretty small. Service was a little awkward, but fine. I think there was just one person doing the host, serving, to-go orders, etc. Mostly, I found the server to just be a little dry; I would have enjoyed more interaction.This is in a strip mall, close to a hotel. There isn't too much ambience. They have a tv (or two) playing sports. Overall, it was a solid choice.

So I've seen the menu and I've driven by a few times, so I'm glad that I finally got to come!The server was really nice and the food came out pretty quickly!The takoyaki had pretty good size pieces of octopus, and they were just perfect! The pork belly buns were slathered in hoisin sauce, but they weren't overall sweet or salty and the steamed bun was soft and delicate.Ramen is amazing, delicious, ten out of ten! The broth for the chicken katsu was flavorful even though it was just a clear broth. The tantan was just as good. And perfect half boiled eggs!Biggest problem for me would be parking - it's down Broadway, so if you come later, then you might have to street park.

Visiting Lexington and wanted to find. "U" restaurant for my A to Z challenge. I am so glad I found this place First of all Ramen is so delicious and comforting and this place has a variety of them. I ordered the chicken katsu ramen. It is so yummy Pablo crusted chicken spinach bamboo sprouts and those noodles. Service was quick and they all were very nice. The only downfall is the traffic. It's hard to get in and out of the parking lot. It's worth it

I have visited this place several times, and each visit is always a great experience, and their ramen is delicious! Coming from a city called the melting pot of the south comes with residents who are foodies--aka, like me. I love trying out new places and recommending places when it warrants attention, and this place is at the top. The ramen soup is creamy and delicious; the noodles are perfectly boiled, and the pork chasus (omg, I always order double meat for my ramen!) I brought my coworkers here for dinner yesterday after our 12-hr shifts. It was also one of my coworker's birthday, so it was a treat. I love showing people my fondness for discovering hidden gems regarding food. I highly recommend this place for top-rated ramen noodles!P.S. They also have other options to order, such as small plates for appetizers and boba drinks :)

This was my first time trying a ramen place. I was seated quickly, but since I was by myself they places me at the bar-like seats. These seats are a little awkward as you feel like you are in the kitchen and watching everything. The place is pretty welcoming overall. The food was very good. I got the pork bun appetizer to start and followed it up with the chicken ramen. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. I will eat here again before I travel home!

This is the best ramen I've ever had! Everything is so flavorful and curated for each dish. Very good options and add ons for your ramen. The appetizers are also delicious! When I get this delivered from Uber, it comes just as good and never misses!

Honestly really good food. I had the spicy miso and loved how much heat was in it, although I did add a good amount of chili oil to it. Service was okay. Not busy at all in there on a Wednesday night. Good for a quick meal especially if you're craving ramen!

I enjoyed my meal at Ume. I bought one of the Xooker vouchers and it was easy and painless to use it at this location. Definitely recommend doing that to save some money. I thought the ramen was pretty good. I had the spicy ramen and it was definitely spicy. Not lacking on the spice. We also got takoyaki and it was delicious. Service was great!

I fondly remember the noodle shops during my travels in Japan. I'm happy to say I can have that experience again at Ume Craft Ramen. We began with the delicious pork buns as an appetizer. I had the chicken katsu ramen with a boba tea & my son had the una don. Both dishes were well prepared, tasty & filling. A dish of red bean ice cream finished the meal for us. The owner came out & spoke to us about the preparation of the broth (made from his mother's recipes) & how important & time consuming the process is. The restaurant itself is a clean,casual & inviting space. I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to experience an authentic taste of Japan.
