Tyler's Pizza

Always being on the road can be stressful but I sure do love finding little gems like this. Those mom and pop places can serve up some great food. This little old school restaurant was certainly satisfactory. The menu has a good variety and fair prices. We enjoyed the food we ordered. My only remark would be I wished my Chicken Parm sub had more sauce. There were only a couple of employees working and they really stayed busy to serve everyone, both indoor diners and phone orders. If you're passing through, don't blink! Make a stop and try this restaurant.

Tyler's went from being a really good pizza place to absolute garbage. They raised the prices, and the food quality has gone down. I ordered a cheese pizza for 10 bucks with extra sauce. I got burnt cheese no sauce which I will show you in the pictures and I also ordered an pasta salad that had no lettuce in it, but they did decide to put some sausage and slimy mushrooms and green peppers that don't normally fine in an antipasto salad.When I first walked through the door, there was nobody at the register so we waited patiently then the little girl comes around the corner because the phone rings decides to answer the phone and it is a personal call so while I'm sitting there waiting to have my order taken, she's taking a phone call . I give her my order. She tells me it's gonna take 30 minutes which whatever I'm fine with that as long as my food comes out the way I ask for it. She seem to be a little disappointed when she didn't. I used my debit card, but I never tip with my debit card. I always leave cash once I see my food but considering there was an attitude, I decided to pass this time 35 minutes later, I had to ask for my food, and in that time, I watched people come in waiting in line and then somebody come around the corner once the phone started ringing three different times. These people were made to wait phone calls, which makes absolutely no sense considering the guest standing right in front of you you should put the phone on hold, the girl from the back heavyset short hair came out and got on the phone with the guest who obviously had a problem with her delivery order was very nasty with them and told him yeah well it's been kind of a day and she hung up on them and then took another phone call and was rude to those people as well. It's disgusting how bad the customer service has gone downhill. I will never ever be back to this pizzeria. Being in a small town, it's really sad that a business would treat people the way I watched people being treated today especially since we've been going there for years, but that's OK. I'd rather drive 30 minutes and get a good pizza then deal with rude nasty people who can't put paper towels and toilet paper in the bathrooms.

Good food, nice people, could use more staff up front. Great place to gather, good atmosphere.

Best pizza in olive hill for sure. Food is always fresh and good. Could use less garlic though. If you don't like that make sure you tell them.

Everything that I have had has been delicious. The waiting staff, the drivers and the owners are hard working and friendly.

Good lunch special pizza and a soda for around $6. Nice friendly staff. Would come back again in town.

Loved this place at first, but been going downhill at times. We were told the wait would be 30 mins. We got there at 30 mins and had to wait an extra 40 mins. Pizza was cold. The pepperonis were tossed on it. They fall off when you pick up a slice of pizza. We were to get cheese sticks with the order since we got the special. We did not get them. We didn't mention it because we had already waited way over the time we were told. I was expecting a hot pizza since we waited so long. Nope, it was cool to Luke warm. Ridiculous.

This was about the only thing still functioning in "downtown" Olive Hill. Evidently there had been a flood and fire that closed many businesses. The food was certainly worth the price. Don't look for gourmet, but subs and salads are decent. My antipasto salad had everything in it but the kitchen sink. OTOH, I ordered coffee with cream. It cam with 2% milk, which to me, tastes like drinking black coffee. I don't usually take sugar, but I can drink coffee without cream(er) if it has sugar. There was none on the table, and the restaurant had neither sugar nor creamer packets. It seems that there are too few coffee drinkers (and they are known customers) for the proprietor to spend the money. Don't order coffee...unless you like it black.

Zero stars not even one , i had a horrible experience last night with the staff ordered three pizzas and while i was paying someone came and took one to give to a party that was taking place , how rude . They said i could wait till they made another one that would mean my other two pizzas would get cold so didn't they changed me for the one they took so thats theft . Disgusting way to run a restaurant ill never go there again .gross staffing

Walked up to order, cashier said she would only take my order if I would be seated. Waited 25 minutes while she only answered the phone and served other customers. Very disappointed. Won't be back.
