This place is so gorgeous and the owners are so hospitable. The house is immaculate and the owners so graciously gave me a complete tour. The amenities included a gorgeous and comfortable queen bed, jacuzzi tub, Keurig , and a lovely parlor and sitting room as well as two decks! The breakfast was simply spectacular. We were served homemade quiche and waffles! You could tell that the owners spent a lot of time preparing for our visit. I definitely recommend!

Our first time at a bed and breakfast and the experience was wonderful. The pictures don't do justice of how beautiful, clean, and relaxing this place is. The owners were very welcoming and kind. The breakfast was amazing!! We had everything we could need. We will definitely return.( If your wondering why there isn't more reviews on yelp for this amazing place, it's because they ask for you to review them on trip adviser or google.)

It's fantastic here. Had a ball swimming in the pool at night. The grounds and house are awesome. The hosts were so accommodating. If we came back to Louisville I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. I kind of feel bad for people that stay in any other B&B in he area because there's no way you'd get as good an experience. And the food.... I'll be honest, not a breakfast person. Don't eat eggs at all, take it or leave it with the other stuff. I usually eat weird things like PBJ in the am. Ummmm, oh my lanta. Best Breakfast Ever. I'm not exaggerating. The cherry pancakes . The bacon was so good, and wow, I even ate the egg frittata and enjoyed it. That's not me, at all. And the food kept coming, and coming, and coming. Didn't need to eat the rest of the day. STAY HERE

The Tucker House is a historic bed & breakfast that is well-furnished and full of charm. Tucked away near an industrial park, I was surprised to step back in time as I walked through the door. The entry was decked out for Christmas, so the staircase and central chandelier made even more of an impression. The early American decor, particularly in the library, made me wish I was staying longer so I could enjoy curling up with a book (and perhaps the friendly feline of the house). Being in the middle of a long trip, this was the best night of sleep I had - even compared to more expensive hotels. The mattress was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. The bathroom is outfitted with plenty of towels, organic soaps, and a whirlpool tub. If you are looking for imposing or grandiose, you might be better served elsewhere - but if you prefer authenticity and coziness, you will enjoy your stay at Tucker House. Steve and Devona are incredibly hospitable and they serve a delicious breakfast. We can't wait for our next stay.

My best friends from high school and I had the pleasure of staying at the Tucker House for a girls night recently. It was a beautiful B&B with many wonderful sitting areas outside and a nice pool. When we arrived the plan was to leave our things and go shopping but due to a delay with one friend, and after arriving at the Tucker House, it was so nice we didn't want to leave. We all just hung out outside and drank wine. The owners were very sweet and accommodating. Just don't park on the grass in the circle drive! :) Our rooms were very nice (Courting and Traveler), and even had their own mini fridge and Keurig brewer. Breakfast was amazing: pumpkin pancakes, bacon, the creamiest eggs and fruit with yogurt. The area of town where the B&B is located is very nice. We were close to shopping areas and getting into downtown for dinner was easy. I will definitely try to stay at the Tucker House if I get back to Louisville. Hopefully for the Derby someday.

This place is spectacular. We never wanted to leave. Each room has a name. Book the Courting Room if you can. It comes with a huge whirlpool (hot tub) tub. The owners are immaculately clean. The bed is the most comfortable I think I have ever slept. The grounds are beautiful. To top it off, the breakfast is top tier. I don't even want to tell you what they made for to give up the surprise. Let's just say it is made with love and they do not hold back. You will not leave unhappy and everything is homemade! We would highly recommend this place hand

My husband and I stayed at Tucker House for five nights in August 2013 for my sister's wedding, which was held on the grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. The house and grounds were enchanting, the breakfasts delicious, and the hospitality world-class. My family reserved all of four rooms for Friday and Saturday during the wedding weekend and I can say that each was thoroughly charming and unique. My sisters and I each thought our room was the best! My husband and I stayed in the Traveler's Room. The bed was very comfortable and there room had a big dresser and generous closet space. With it's own entrance off the back of the house, the room afforded a little more privacy than the others but the wrap-around deck meant we were only steps from the common room and the other bedrooms. We could not have asked for more generous hosts - warm, thoughtful, and incredibly understanding during a slightly chaotic wedding weekend. Even though our flight arrived late, Steve was there to greet us, help with our bags, and show us to our room. We met Devona at breakfast the next morning and it was love at first bite! Every breakfast was a wonderful surprise that included fresh fruit, a different egg dish (omelets, frittatas, scrambles, benedict, etc.), bacon, and some fresh-baked tasty treat (my favorite were the cherry almond scones). Devona also accommodated the different dietary restrictions of our group - gluten free, vegetarian, and religious.During our stay, Steve and Devona went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and generally went above and beyond the call of duty to indulge every wedding whim. Devona was even thoughtful enough to ask about my sister's floral arrangements for the wedding so that she could make sure the house flowers matched. She also tidied the bride and groom's room during the reception so that the newlyweds would retire to tranquility (rather than the bedlam left by a bride, five attendants, and a flower girl preparing for the ceremony). We could not have asked for better hosts. If you have the opportunity to stay here you, treat yourself. You won't be sorry!

This place is amazing. Devona and Steve make it so comfortable to stay there. It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway weekend. We stayed in the Courting Chamber which is an extremely comfortable room with a great cozy bed and the bathroom is great too. Our bathroom had a great whirlpool bath for two and a nice shower. Breakfast couldn't have been better. Both meals we had were fantastic and we were set up for just the two of us out on the patio overlooking the garden and pool area. I don't know how it's done, but the house always smelled of warm maple syrup - yummy. I highly recommend staying here. I can't wait to go back. There is a whole forest in the back of the property that must be gorgeous in the fall and serene in the winter. As we strolled around the grounds a deer ambled past us. Everything was just perfect and it was a great home base for a romantic escape.

Steve and Devona are wonderfully kind hosts. It is clear in so many ways that they really want their guests to have a warm, comfortable time there. The bed was wonderful, and the food was even better! Next time we're in Louisville, we will definitely be visiting again!
