True North Catering

Female-owned business! Our work group wanted to specifically support local businesses with our dollars for a gathering of 20 people. We were able to pick from a list of boxed lunches, a main dish plus a side. It allowed each person to customize their meal. It was delivered on time and our boxes each had our name clearly stickered. I ordered the BLT and wish I could pick it up again. Delicious! And unique with a fried green tomato. The fresh fruit was ripe and a nice balance to my chips. I experienced a second meal, the cherry chicken salad. I paired it with thin pretzels (that I had at home). The broccoli salad wasn't my favorite thing but that's a side dish that people make uniquely, so I'm sure others will enjoy it. I am looking forward to finding another opportunity to use this catering company and will be recommending it to co-workers planning meetings.

True North Catering knows how to make delicious food.I got to try it again most recently at Bernheim Forest's ColorFest. True North was set up in a booth with its business BFF, Baked. (Be sure to look up Baked as well -- amazing sweets and treats!)And from True North, I got a loaded baked potato, which came with shredded chicken, barbecue sauce and sour cream on top. And this thing was LOADED! It was more than enough for a meal. My husband had to help me finish it. I loved the fact that this came with protein on top of the potato -- something more people should do. In many ways, True North is super creative.Chef Carlie seems to specialize in Southern specialties, but she can do high-end as well as more casual, including boxed lunches. True North should not be overlooked -- whether you come across it at a festival or need something more extensive for an event.

I had the pleasure of experiencing one of their charcuterie boxes during a socially distant small event at Trouble Bar with the Bourbon Women Association. The boxes included several small cheese portions, fruits, crackers, spreads & a bourbon ball. The pairings were interesting, tasty, & perfectly portioned. This is a short review because it's straight to the point...they will make your gathering fantastic!

Carlie is an exceptional young chef who entered the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana Desserts First event in the appetizer category and WON!! We have since had her do some catering for us and will continue to throw business her way.

My friend ordered a charcuterie box from here for a girls' night out and it was wonderful! Everyone loved it and it was so lovely to look at, too. I really appreciate how they put a little bit of a different spin on their box by adding in things like the pimento cheese and a homemade dessert (rotating weekly) in each box. Our dessert was an oatmeal cream pie and it was great. I just really liked the assortment of items in this box and how each item seemed to complement the flavors of the other items in the box. Would definitely order again!

I ordered the Graze Box ($15) for Mother's Day and they went beyond expectations! Thank You for a unique experience with each bite. Do not hesitate to order from True North, you will not be disappointed! Best value in town for charcuterie food!

Just had True North catering at the Glaser's Ladies Night and really enjoyed it. Not the run of the mill catering. Flavorful and tasty. Will check into using them at our next event.

True North Catering is the best! Carlie is an awesome chef. She can customize menus to fit any type of cuisine or budget and is easy to work with, whether for a large wedding or a small party. Her food, especially desserts, are delicious and have a great presentation. Would highly recommend!

I hosted an intimate dinner party and Carlie and her staff did an excellent job. Our four course meal was simply delicious. It was an evening to remember in many ways. Thank you Chef Cornett!
