Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Our first visit! In Middletown, this cafe seems to be primarily a take out option, but there is limited seating. We opted for wraps and I chose the Super Green Caesar chicken wrap, adding the kale apple salad and a strawberry banana smoothie. It was a filling and fresh option, and I appreciated it didn't feel heavy. The service was fast and friendly. The two people working had kept a clean store and continued to clean after we had our items. When ordering we were encouraged to ask questions about the menu. We'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

Food is great; service needs work. Came to pickup a to-go order on a Saturday night at 8:08. All lights turned off, all chairs put up on tables; business appeared close. I had already paid for my meal, so attempted to enter. At this time, I realized the business was open and in fact - was scheduled to be open for another 50 minutes. If I was the owner, I would certainly want to know that my staff allowed my business to appear closed 50 minutes early.

My first time at Tropical Café and the cashier pulled out a menu from behind the counter and it showed how many calories each drink had with the sweeteners and the number of calories if you substitute the sweeteners. I ordered the Acai Berry Boost. It has acai, pomegranate, banana, blueberries and strawberries in it. I also tried the edible strawberry straw. I've never had a edible straw before and it was good. The only negative I have is that the straw broke in half when I was trying to push it in my cup.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about the *delicious* Veggie Hummus Wrap I got here last week, so I went again today! I was excited to find out, because I joined the rewards program (via their app during my first visit) I was already awarded a free smoothie. I tried the Green Island Detox Smoothie w/out ginger & it was so good! I love that they are a smoothie shop with actual healthy options. I also really enjoy the Sweet Potato Bites!Robin was so kind & welcoming. I will be back!

Nice selection of lunch items consisting of salads, wraps, sandwiches & flatbreads. Good sized smoothies; not sure how many ounces. Food is made fairly quickly and ingredients taste fresh. Friendly employees and environment.

I loved this place, very friendly and clean, great choice for a smoothie. It was delicious, my kids gobbled it up real quick .The staff was very nice and welcoming. Always with a smile on their faces .Thank you for a good time

workers are super nice and not overbearingly in your face! it was pretty dead when i went, which was around 10 or 11 AM on a tuesday. food was great and fast, it's a perfect spot to grab lunch and just sit for 10-15 minutes while you're out running errands. thanks girlies

If you enjoy getting yelled at this is the location to come to! then if you enjoy hearing about how a location isn't meeting sales...also the location to come to. Then if you say it's not the best to discuss that in front of customers you will be told to leave! worst customer service EVER!! Corporate was called.

DISAPPOINTED!l received a free smoothie promotion for my birthday and came into the store to redeem it. Skylar was the manager and was not helpful, she said there was nothing she could do since their system wasn't accepting the reward. I tried for 30 minutes on my own to see what l could do on my end to fix the problem and brought my mom in to talk to the manager and Skylar refused to do anything. She told us to deal with it and pay for it! She made known to us that someone had just come in having that same problem. Skylar refused to give us a free smoothie and my mom and l left. She said she tried to call a higher manager to help but she later couldn't even name who the higher manager was. So much time waisted and such rude service was hurtful, especially on my birthday!! We are a family of 6 and come to tropical smoothie weekly. Can you do anything to make this right for my whole family?
