After a long day if travel, it was time to break for lunch. We found this little Italian food / pizza restaurant off the highway (1 mile)This is the best marinara I've ever tasted. They brought homemade bread sticks out. We ordered Florentine and ravioliEXCELLENT I'm very glad we stopped at this spot.

Just a hole in the wall pizza joint, super simple restaurant. Great if you're starving and closest thing to Carter Caves. It's basically just a well done Tony's Pizza. Nothing to get excited over but will fix your pizza cravings if you ate it. 3.2 on the One Bite app at most.

This place needs Robert Irvine...fast!You walk in and it's not very welcoming at all. To the right you need a table or 2 full of stuff. The table we were seated next to, full of the kids books & activity items. The back booth was a kids area for the owner's kids. Ridiculous. We ordered an appetizer. AFTER we received a greasy, undercooked doughy "Italian " cheese sticks (after the owner and chef had no clue what table they went to. Mind you there was only 3 tables filled and the other 2 already had their orders or were done and they still didn't know what table they went to) we had received the complementary cheese sticks (which were dry and overcookeds/microwaved). Why these were served when we sat down or before we ordered, who knows. I have never received complementary food AFTER our appetizer. The food...microwaved and canned. Nothing was fresh or fresh tasting. Who has ever had greasy spaghetti? You will here. You can tell the chicken on the Chicken Parmesan was a frozen chicken patty. My boyfriend order one of the "hot" sandwiches. While waiting 15 minutes, the waitress finally comes out and asked him if he wanted chips or fries. That should have been asked WHILE ordering, not 15+ mins later. The meats were cold, bread was cold and the cheese was just barely warm. It was to come with Italian Dressing. First the girl brought a tiny amount of what tasted like Red Wine Vinegar. He asked if it was the Italian dressing she said she didn't know. Then she brought the "creamy Italian dressing" which was ranch. This girl had no clue what she was doing or bringing. Finally he told her tonjusy forget it.And....I really DID NOT appreciate the owner's son coming over and sitting almost on top of me while the owner visited a bit while I was eating. She didn't even tell him to go back to their booth. She allowed him to stay and "encouraged" by the way she was handling him. That did NOT sit well with me, at all.Next day and for the next week, we had a small bout of food poisoning from this place. With the way the food was and the place, it didn't surprise us. I doubt the food was kept in correct temperature or environment. Definitely not stopping here again. And the locals claim this place to have amazing Italian food?? These locals need to get out more and find out what real Italian food taste like.

The food was delicious. The ambiance is lacking and we had to find the waitstaff. We aren't local so we won't go back but we would definitely go back if we lived there.

Great experience from the moment we drove up in the middle of the afternoon post-cave exploring! We mentioned how beautiful it was outside, 70 degrees & sunny with a light breeze, the owner offered to move a table outside on the front porch for us. We ordered 3 different customized pasta dishes & cheese sticks. They all were delicious including the extra meatballs we requested on the spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken ravioli w/ spaghetti & the catalina florentine w/ added shrimp. The red sauce was so tasty w/ wonderful chunks of tomato that we eagerly brought the leftovers w/ complimentary bread sticks back to our cottage to eat the next day.The owner told us the story of opening the business in January 2020 right before the pandemic hit. What a trial by fire!

If you are in Carter Cave and Grayson area, you need to visit this place. I don't expect such delicious Italian food in this part of Kentucky. The owner makes his own bread, sauces. We ordered spaghetti/meat balls and cauliflower pizza, both are very flavorful and not salty. The owner Michelle is very nice and she was the one recommending the cauliflower pizza since I am in carb control. The price is very reasonable and portion big. Covid has been hard on the restaurant but Michelle is very optimistic. Stop by here and you won't regret

The food here is amazing. It was easily the best Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that I have ever had. The service here was very friendly as well. They had a ton of choices and the servers had amazing recommendations. The food also came out extremely fast. It is also really close to Carter Caves which makes it a perfect stop to go to when camping.
