Trays Garden

The food is good. I have to give them that. However, they charge more for the buffet on the weekends because they serve salmon, shrimp and crab legs. The problem is that there is never any English speaking workers whenever we go and they won't always serve the higher priced options. You can't get a valid reason from anyone because of the language barrier. Regarding the crab legs, we went in on a Saturday, excited about the crab legs! We were told they were out of crab. Meanwhile, at a table across the room, there was a table of 4 of their employees grubbing down on a bunch of crab legs! When we pointed this out, all of the sudden, they could have crab legs ready for the buffet in 30 minutes! Every time I ask to speak to the manager, nobody is ever there. It's such a shame.

Edit: not as good now as when they reopened food looks the same as previous owners had. Beware! Watch your table there's an employee who constantly watches tables when empty he will clear your table while you're at the buffet getting your food, happened twice. Between king buffet and trays I think I'm done with Chinese food for a while.

This place use to be a good place to go dine out when I was younger. So many options to pick from as well. So I went back the other day with my husband, hadn't been in good 5 years, and had the rudest and most limited food options ever. They only had two food bars open. One with actual cooked food, and one for the sushi / salad. To mention no one ever came to do our refills, or anything. Everything was old too. Nothing fresh at all. Also to beat it all. They charged us over $25 for the both of us, and we only got one plate. Not to mention the food gave my husband food poison. We will never be back.

If you're hungry and in the mood for Chinese I suggest you go somewhere else like Somerset. I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but I have failed miserably. This place needs a serious remodel and buffet items revamped. I don't want to recommend this place. The people who own this place do not care if their food is not fresh. The steam tables do not maintain proper temperature. I have personally witnessed them filling the hot and sour soup on the buffet and when I went to get a bowl of it was cold. And I love hot and sour soup, but not when it is cold. I hope this helps when you decide to visit trays garden.

Years ago I used to love eating here. The food was fresh and seemed more authentic. Last few years the older lady running the place has gotten bitter and rude. Also I bit down on a staple last night I ordered take out. I wish this place took as much pride in there service and food as they did when the place first opened.

When food is hot, it's excellent. The country music throws me off a bit but overall it's a great restaurant. Clean, and the staff is friendly.

Rude is fine if the food is good ( think "Soup Nazi " ) .....and the food is good, just stay away from the buffet late in the day ;)

COMPLETELY RUDE!!!!!! Got our order to go.... First... My wheelchair BARELY fits thru the door...OR around the buffet table... After telling the employee were getting our order to go she got an attitude... Then we got our food... From the VERY SMALL variety they have... Btw ALL you can eat buffet costs you 9$ ... Take out lunch in a Styrofoam container is 5$ A POUND!!!!! We can eat wayyyyyyyyyy more if we stay in then I'd ever fit in a pound and just because we choose not to eat in we're charged outrageously.... Heck I'd rather pay the 9$ and get a take out container.... COMPLETELY rediculous pricing! 3 take out containers cost us 39 bucks!!!! Now fast forward to us leaving... We were outside as the rude employee came out to tell another customer she left her keys... As the elderly lady turns to walk back to her.... The RUDE employee.... THREW THE LADY HER KEYS... they hit the ground and broke something from her keychain.... RUDE RUDE RUDE... AND TRUST ME WE TOLD HER SO... SHES LUCKY WE DON'T LOOK GOOD IN STRIPES.... THAT WAS SOOOOO DISRESPECTFUL AND WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!

my wife and I have eaten there several times but it keeps going down more and more. I assume one of the owners that's always there the lady is very rude, tries to over charge you and never offers a refill on drinks..This place needs a major cleaning pick up salt or pepper shaker will stick to your fingers. Sorry to not go back food is okay but anything that was good they delete same as any chinese restaurant now will not recommend , my wife and I drove 25 miles one way not anymore.
