HotelTownplace is more of an extended stay place, which is not my typical go-to but in this instance, I needed something close to the airport and well everything in the area was booked for some event or another so I hit it for a two-night stay.It is conveniently located right by Louisville Mohammed Ali airport and at the same time, allows a quick jaunt to downtown Louisville.Decently sized, the rooms are mini efficiency apartments of a sort - there is a kitchen and refrigerator but i did not use the amenities so cannot comment.I was somewhat miffed about the check-in experience - I checked in online knowing I would be arriving late and when I got there, the only thing left was a handicap accessible room. I did not reserve this, nor did I want it and the lady at the desk could not care less. She claimed it was the last room, and while that may be the case, I have to presume that one of the non-Marriott Bonvoy members that sauntered in before me got the room I reserved.The room itself was fine enough, I just did not like the experience and the take-it-or-leave it attitude. Considering I am the person at my company that negotiates our travel amenities, I will be rethinking Marriot properties.Outside of that, no issues. Hot water was hot, the place was clean, and there was a buffet breakfast available in the mornings.Caveat on the location: This place is literally next to the airport and you will be hearing a lot of jet noise - so be aware if you are one of those light sleepers. Plenty of parking available.

The hotel appears to be new. The location is okay as long as you are comfortable setting at a traffic light and being pan handled. Breakfast was decent and as expected. Some staff are friendly, while managers or front counter staff only speak when spoken too. There are not many food options close to the hotel.

Towneplace suites is always Marriotts affordable extended stay concept. Which means not the most luxurious furnishings, but spacious rooms, counter space, and a decent breakfast (plus parking!)Located near the airport, it's a good staging area to hit the bourbon trail as needed as it's close to the major roads. The hotel itself is not too old, it has the more modern towneplace design. Check-in was fine, no real issues. Lobby was decent sized, but your rooms are large enough where that doesn't matter. Staff is friendly, you're definitely not expecting 5 star service here.Rooms are good, furnishings are adequate. May not get the thickest comforters, but AC works perfectly well. Bathroom is spacious enough, and there's plenty of seating area. Wifi worked well, no issues with any of the amenities. All in all, comfortable place for a short stay.

I've stayed at numerous hotels in Louisville around the airport and thus far this is the best one. It has a full kitchen, airport shuttle, indoor pool, gym, breakfast, various room setups. I do find the layout is sometimes odd in the room and if your room is at the front of the hotel just know it's very bright in the parking lot and some light will come through the bottom of the curtains so maybe request the backside of the hotel if that's something that bothers you as I have a feeling it may be darker that way and also there are sometimes loud groups of people out front around the firepit. I do wish they didn't have the coin laundry machines as Candlewood Suites doesn't but you can't win it all it seems. I do think that my bed box spring was broken as it felt at a weird downward slant and looked to sag that way as well. I'm also not sure why one of my dresser drawers had no bottom to it unless it was to fit a larger item and no clue when or if they'll ever clean my room, it has been 5 days now.

Checked in early online, then told at the front desk that a room wasn't available until mid-afternoon. Is that the hotel's failure? Unsure. But when I'm asked by the front desk if I want daily room cleaning and I say yes but then it never happens? That is definitely the hotel's failure. And I think it's loco that a maid can't comprehend simple English. I do have to recognize the breakfast staff. Very well done. Actually the best breakfast service I've had at Marriott. Do have to reiterate that the front desk service was subpar, though.
