Toro Loco Mexican Restaurant

Let me start I hadn't been here for a while; the inside looks refreshed. Service and food was great and fast...even during a busy rush. Will dine again...cheers

Toro Loco Mexican Restaurant offered exceptional food with excellent service. I was meeting up with a lifelong friend who I had not seen in years. It took us nearly 30 minutes to place our order because we could not stop talking LOL. Our server was very patient and kept checking in on us to see if we were okay.My chicken and beef taquitos were so tasty and served streaming hot. The meats were cooked perfectly and the sauce was divine! The chips and salsa were also fresh and yummy. You could tell the salsa was homemade and the chips were warm.Our server was pleasant and very attentive even though we were eating during the Friday night dinner rush. I was worried before arriving that I would have an issue finding a place to park as the restaurant is in the downtown Ironton area. But I was pleasantly surprised to find a spot on the same block as a restaurant. I would absolutely eat here again when I'm in town and would recommend that others try them if you have not already.

I want in on cinco de mayo eve. You could just tell the anticipation was building to a fever pitch. I meekly asked "what is your wifi password?"The manager, i guess, yells "PASSWORD?? PASSWORD???? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING PASSWORDS". He smiled and I remembered him working at Grayson's KY Toro Loco. "Actually the password is password" he retorted in a very professional tone. I got my usually. He remembered it from Grayson. Very stunned. I think he is a manager now but I'm not certain. Great guy. Good place to eat. I like its downtown location. I watch outside the window. I remember how Ironton was a teenage Mecca to us. Things change..Except Roberto. He's awesome.

Service has been hit and miss lately. Some of the regulars aren't there. They always knew our orders before we sat down. Very friendly. The food is always excellent, and the portion size is unreal compared to other local Hispanic cuisine. It's so much food. Pollo Bandito is my go to.

Stopped in at Toro Loco while we were staying in Ironton Ohio looking for some good Mexican food. When we arrived a young girl looked at me from about 20 feet away said something grabbed some menus and proceeded to walk away. I hesitantly walked forward to find she was indeed seating us. The gentleman taking our order brought us the wrong drinks. The water tasted terrible. I'm not sure what was wrong with it but my husband agreed it had a funky taste. I ordered a frozen margarita with salt. When it arrived there was no salt and the drink itself was really sub par. I will say my fajita burrito tasted delicious. The service was less than desirable and the environment was terrible. There was rap music playing from the bar area that you could hear throughout that made it feel like a club setting. Overall I was extremely disappointed. It really is terrible because my food wasn't bad just everything else.

The food is always pretty good but the service is ALWAYS terrible. I often have to find the server to ask them to take our order, get a refill, or even get the check.

I'm here in Ohio from Los Angeles and felt like having Mexican food. The food here is great just like home.

Ok so very nice welcoming staff, five stars for them. Kids loved tacos both soft and hard shell chicken and beef both good. But, my enchilada cheese was thick and not warm, so sort of hard, and my personal preference is a more red enchilada sauce this was darker more brown not as sweet as I like. Delicious salsa and plenty of chips offered.

Came in from Columbus stopped in for lunch and will return again. Great happy hour and food will stop in again on my next visit.

Food was delicious, service was great. Always giving refills and provided us with great service. It's also clean and cool inside the restaurant. Authentic Mexican cuisine. They also did an amazing job with catering salsa, queso dip, and guacamole at my wedding.
