Tomo japanese ramen and sushi

Very clean, Service was attentive.Ordered the Spicy Chashu Ramen, spicy but not so spicy that it was difficult to eat. Perfect!The Brown Sugar Boba was delicious!The Matcha Boba was subtle but delicious as well!

I enjoyed the food here. I didn't enjoy the tea. Just wanted standard issue sweet tea. What I got was a hermetically sealed medium-ish cup of lemon and tea mix. I survived. The food was good though! Service was awesome. The crab Rangoon was fresh and creamy. The chashu was a bit bland, but the steamed buns it was in was pretty good overall.

Ordered via Uber eats: scallop nigiri, salmon nigiri, yellowtail hand roll, Alaska hand roll. I was sad they don't offer gluten free soy sauce but the fish itself was fresh.

I ordered take out at this place I haven't tried before, and I don't regret a thing! The place was empty (no customers) but people are missing out. I ordered their lunch sushi option and the tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll are soooo good! I also ordered the pork gyoza and the crab Rangoons and I almost cried eat the gyoza they were that good! I'm glad I gave this place a chance and it's now my favorite! The staff was very nice and they worked pretty efficiently even though I was the only customer. Will definitely recommend to everyone I can and I can't wait to try their other menu options!

Nice ambiance and great service. We got the miso soup, moya moya roll, seaweed salad, and salmon, tuna, and yellowtail sashimi; everything was very good and tasted fresh. Liked that our roll had fresh wasabi on it too, I very rarely see it as an option. Will be back to try more items!

Nope. I was soooo excited to try this place and I amSo disappointed My daughter and I came here the other night. She ordered the hibachi steak with no vegetables. I ordered the hibachi shrimp. With the shrimp well done. I Also ordered the brown sugar boba and the spicy Karrage buns (as an appetizer). So to start, the atmosphere was boring and bland. We got seated and it took about 10 min for us to get our drink order put in. They were not busy. There was one table other than us who had drinks and who already had placed their order. The brown sugar boba was so bland. It tasted slightly like sweet milk. After that we waited for a very long time. Still no appetizer and the server was nowhere to be found. Finally here come our food!!!! I won't lie the presentation was great! It looks wonderful. The late of my main dish was not with the money. It lacked flavor and my shrimp was not extra cooked like I requested. A few minutes AFTER our main course arrived here comes my appetizer. That was an annoyance and it was hard to communicate my concerns to the server. The spicy karrage was AWFUL! so bland, no spice just terrible. Our bill came and it was $60! This place is so overpriced and I will NEVER go back. I do not recommend

We've come by twice now. Both times, we had excellent service for a stop-off lunch spot. The gyoza were tasty, the fried rice is quite nice. But for me, it's all about the ramen. For the price, flavor, and convenience, it's a really great lunch spot for very good ramen. Personally I prefer the chasu spicy pork ramen. The owners were very friendly to our kids as well, which made the experience even better. We will definitely be frequenting this little shop.

I ordered the lunch three roll special. The rolls were so dry. The rice was dry. The fish was dry. I called as a good customer to explain my concerns. Problem was the person who answered the phone did not speak English well and he must've sent me to the owner because I got a callback from another state and I tried to explain and it just wasn't even being heard so I do not have plans to return to the store. Even though they are Ramen is fairly good. The caveat to this review is all I spent two weeks in Japan in 2023 so I do know what good Japanese food should taste like and this does not make it.

We were in Brooks, KY for business and stumbled upon this gem for dinner. It was so good, we went back a second night. Love that the menu has a variety of Asian dishes to choose from since my coworker doesn't like sushi. But her hibachi meal looked so good I almost wished I had ordered it instead. It's a very small dining room and I noticed a lot of take out traffic. Service was excellent.

I am honestly so glad my foodie bff and I decided to take a chance and try Tomo- I think it is our new favorite place! Honestly though, we weren't sure what to think when we came in since the place was fairly small. We also wrongly assumed it was a sit down place where you have a waiter or waitress and it IS a sit down place, HOWEVER, they give you a menu, you order at the counter, and then you sit down and they bring you your food when it is ready. We haven't typically been a fan of this type of restaurant in the past but Tomo blew my mind so hard I left not even caring. We ordered a decent amount of food as we usually do our first time at a restaurant: two apps (veggie gyoza and crab Rangoon), two specialty drinks (Galaxy boba), chashu fried rice, two sushi rolls (Philadelphia and shrimp tempura), and a bowl of spicy vegetable ramen. Everything wowed me. It was that kind of situation where you take a bite and you have to stop for a minute because it's so good! My bff even said the crab Rangoon was the best he'd ever had. You can tell they are made in house. The chashu fried rice was my favorite. I can't even describe in words the explosion of flavors! Whoever they have back in that kitchen is making MAGIC. Keep up the good work! Also- beautiful presentation- especially on the sushi! I also want to point out that the Galaxy boba doesn't look much like the photo on the menu...but it is AMAZING. It's coconut, strawberry, and pineapple. Just try it. You won't regret it.
