Pretty disappointed in our trip to the tipsy cow. I'd like to say it was because of the food but we never got the chance to eat. After a 10 hour drive we got here a little before 8 pm on a Friday night (we're from Missouri so it was actually 7pm and our dinner time) to grab a bite to eat. I had my 18 and 19 year old with me. We walked in I asked if we needed to seat ourselves and was told "yea are you ordering take out?" I asked if we were about to sit down and eat when I was informed unless my girls were 21 the answer was no. There was maybe 10 people at the bar, a group of 5 playing pool but considering the crowd not a lot of people. I understood this being a "bar" that serves alcohol however was upset that Stephanie was rude about them being there to eat. The food menu looked great and we were all excited to try it out. We ended up taking business elsewhere where we spent over $100 which the tipsy cow missed out on.

Service at the bar just for drinks early in a weekday was great. They had a fun college night and room to dance on a normal night. Even a stage for a band. There is a full bar and food too. We didn't eat this trip though.

I really wanted to love it here. I'd followed them on Facebook even before their opening and it seems like they are all a cool group of folks. I don't dispute that, but I have to keep it real and report, the food sucks. You must have to be tipsy to enjoy it. Harsh? Maybe. I'm just trying to tell the truth, folks.Believe the "bar" part of their name and don't think it's more of a grill. I guess I followed and believed their FB food posts. I can't comment on their bar amusement, so I won't ding them too much on the stars. They have a couple of pool tables and a stage, so the nightlife might be where it's at. The day I was there they were charging a $5 per person cover fee. I don't know if that's the norm or what, but that made it all the more disappointing when the food was less than mediocre. When I walked in, I sat at a table but no one ever came to wait on on us, so I moved up to the bar. We both ordered waters and was a bit surprised when someone from behind the bar said "nothing is good here". Uh, that was strange. But ended up ringing true. We should've took his word and just chalked up the entry fee as a loss. Now for the food... I ordered the loaded cheese fries and when they arrived, I was almost surprised that they were a bit small for the $8.99 price tag. But I didn't end up eating them all in the long run. The fries were soft and could've used a minute or two longer in the frier. The cheese and bacon bits were ok, so I ended up eating the ones from the top. My dining mate ordered the loaded nachos and at first glance we were both impressed. We both liked the homemade chips, but the serving of pork was fatty and bland. They too were not worth the $8.99 price tag. I do hope that my experience was a fluke, but I can't say they're the best option in Georgetown. I also don't think I'll go back.

You need to check out the Tipsy Cow Bar in Georgetown! They have live music, cornhole, dartboard, pool tables, and so much more! The wings are fantastic, and did I mention they also serve various bourbons?! Chris Linton will be performing this Thursday. https://www.facebook.com/events/1068988226975827

Let me preface this review by saying that your experience here really depends on what you are expecting and what event you may be here for. My husband and I knew that line dancing was an offering here on Monday nights. After months of wanting to check it out, we finally got a babysitter and headed out for an early evening on the town!Tipsy Cow is what I expected from a little bar/grill in a strip mall. There is a bar, a stage, a dance floor, some pool tables, and some tables. For some reason, I was under the impression there would be a mechanical bull, but I didn't see one. I have no idea why I thought there'd be one.The line dancing was fun; however, husband and I are somewhat seasoned line dancers and the learning pace of the dance was a bit too slow for us. It took an hour to learn one dance. We were glad they played a few songs after the lesson to keep the dancers dancing a bit more, though. The turnout for the lesson was decent, but only a small handful of people remained on the floor after the lessons. We were slightly disappointed, BUT we still had fun. We do want to come back for the line dancing, but now we have a better idea of what to expect. We did not order drinks (we already had drinks earlier in the evening at another place) but did get some food. The menu is small and more like 'bar food' -- not a restaurant or anything like that. We ordered cheese fries because all the dancing was building up an appetite! The cheese fries were perfect. Service was great. This isn't the kind of bar I would usually like (I'm more of a craft brewery person). However, I had fun here because the line dancing was fun. If I came here just to come here for drinks and food, I don't think it would have been just as enjoyable. I don't know what the shows are like, either.

I have been twice, first time I paid cover for a full band at beginning of night. But at 11 for a one man band $10 per person is ridiculous. The bands so far are old country for the most part and not real energy music. To cap off the 8 cops in parking lot do not encourage me to stay so I left shortly after.

This place looks so cool! But unfortunately our drinks were poorly made and we were out of nowhere rudely given a card reader with the sever saying "$10" with no explanation to what we were paying for. After asking he said it was the cover for the band playing in an hour and a half. We declined, closed out and left. Probably will not be back.

Great dive bar and excellent service. Minus one star because the menu is limited and even at that they burnt my potato skins. But this bar is what it is supposed to be a local watering hole and it meets all the criteria for that.

Last night my wife and I were so happy to have finely visited the Tipsy cow. We had the best bar experience! Stephanie behind the bar was awesome. The patrons were friendly food, drink great! Then we played pool on a great table listening to country music on jukebox hoping to come again for live music! Priced right, clean and beautiful decor inside!
