Thrive Brew Kombucha

Stumbled upon this review while in the Red River Gorge, KY area at the Daniel Boone Coffee Co. coffeeshop. They had a variety of flavors available, and since I can't handle caffeine, I opted for two of the flavors: the elderberry tonic and the ruby cascade.They had really fun, natural flavors that all sounded very appealing before a day full of hiking, I'll add. So great placement in that coffee shop! The flavors were tasty. I loved that they aren't the super smooth, no "tang" flavor that too many kombucha companies are going for now. It's fermented - it needs some sour to it. So, thank you for keeping that in there.I purchased them in April and was happy to see that they don't expire till June and they're in glass bottles, so they also have a great, long shelf life. Look forward to eventually stopping into this place in Lex some time...unless they wanna start offering products in Indiana. ;)

I love this place! I've been a kombucha fan for years and the variety of options available at Thrive is fantastic. There are always new flavors to try. Not only can you try a few samples before deciding on your kombucha of choice, but you can also get a flight of three flavors which is my favorite thing to do. If you decide you might want to take some home, a growler is also a great way to go. You can then bring back your growler each time you visit and refill with a different flavor each time. Located in the north Limestone (NoLi) area of Lexington, along with several other small local businesses, this is a unique venue surrounded by many interested places to visit. If you aren't a kombucha fan please just give it a try. Thrive has some of the best flavors I've tried anywhere. You might be surprised to find you DO actually like kombucha when you find a flavor that fits you.

These guys are some of the best humans on the planet! Not to mention they make my favorite Booch in the world. I have been in and around the shop for years and getting to know the guy there has been incredible. They are so open about their process and procedures. Everything is world-class and they are so ready to receive questions.

I had only tried samples of kombucha before I was introduced to Thrive by a friend. I love this place! Since I am new to the experience I ordered a flight with 3 different flavors. I had pineapple jalapeño, elderberry, and some kind of charcoal and ginger flavor which was actually my favorite. I enjoy checking out new local places and this store is located in an up and coming area in North Lexington. I will definitely be back to try more!

Stopped in here with a friend and was very impressed. I have only had kombucha once and that was prebottled at a grocery store, the kombucha here is in another league from that. I had a flight so got to sample 3 different flavors and enjoyed them all. Will be back!

We stopped here on a whim one evening and I am so glad we did. As a kombucha store front they had:1. Amazing service. The guy working offered us samples of all their amazing hours made flavors and great recommendations2. Unique variety of flavors. He said the are always changing but at the time they had strawberry basil, pineapple jalapeño, ocean blue, and blackberry lavender. There were like 5 other unique flavors.3. Prices were perfect. You can get a to go cup or growler. I did not notice any chairs but it would be a fun place to hang out if there were otherwise it's a great place to stop to enjoy kombucha. If you have never had it try it here. Parking is out front and you will love the NOLI neighborhood. Be sure to check out this new local establishment

This place is so cute and inviting. I stopped by for a growler and the staff was so nice and let me sample couple before buying. The kombucha was great and i can't get over the aesthetics of this place. I can't wait to come back and hang out for a drink!

I didn't think I liked kombucha until I tried Thrive. Now I go through multiple growlers a week. The owners of Thrive are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. Each and every visit brings my heart immense joy. Plus they just opened a super cool patio! I can't recommend this place enough.

The best place in KY for fresh and quality booch! The owner and people there are so kind and you can try whichever flavor you want before buying! Even my 12 year old brother loves it. So good!

Thrive Kombucha is hands down the best. The products they use are super fresh and high quality. They're always making different flavors and have different seasonal options, along with their staple flavors. If you are a kombucha drinker, get it from Thrive rather than at your grocery store! It's probably around the same price but has better ingredients, it's freshly made, and tastes so much better! Also, you'd be supporting this small business that is run by the best employees. Seriously, the service is amazing. The employees here are super helpful and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough.
