Thea's Bass & Biddy Kitchen

Wow! Came in tonight randomly - met a friend at Old North thinking we could get food there too. No go. The bartender recommended Thea's and I am in his debt. The food was fabulous. I balked at the prices at first but the portions are huge and everything is homemade. Everything. That alone would be worth it but the added bonus of leftovers for a full lunch tomorrow - priceless. The french fries were perfect. The fish (tilapia today) was perfection - breaded just enough and seasoned well. The homemade tartar sauce and hot sauce topped it all off just right. Service was excellent. Friendly, patient, and went the extra mile. Even bringing our to-go food over to Old North for us. (And shoutout to ONB for allowing us to enjoy it there with our beers). Many many thanks!Added bonus - meeting the owner. Lovely person who is clearly working hard to make the business work. Thrilled to have the chance to support her and her team. Will definitely be back soon to do so again.

Wandered in on a Saturday night and thankfully we did! Owner Thea and her nephew Chef Charles were so lovely. We ordered lemonade, fried fish and fries, fried chicken and fries, a small Mac & Cheese, and a side of broccoli (you know for balance). Everything was made fresh to order so a 15 minute wait was worth it, especially since the music was great. Everything came out hot and tasty. We loved the crisp on the fish and chicken, the creaminess of the Mac and Cheese, and the seasoning on the fries. Will definitely be back.

I would say 4.5 stars here. The fries were slightly over seasoned for me but everything was excellent. I had the Chicken and Fish combo, it came with fries along with homemade tarter and hot sauces. 1st time I think I had fried Salmon and it was great, you could choose from Cod and another fish too. There is another full piece of fried Salmon under the top piece and had 3 chicken wings (two flats and a drum for me). All so good. Nice little spot in Greyline Station. Go check it out. I'm heading back for dinner soon, have to try the cheese fries, they look amazing! Great service and Thea was very nice.

Visited Bass and Biddy in the grey Line Station. I had the lemonade and chicken Alfredo. Everything is made to order so be patient. The lemonade was home made which won me over. The owner and chef are very nice people. I was also able to try the fish which I don't have a picture of but it was delicious and perfectly crisp!

Apparently, a food truck by this place had come to my employer. It is great to state made to order and fresh, but in the food truck game, you need the food to be good quality and made fast. It is a kind of a downer to wait a while, 15 minutes, for food to be prepared. Pricey too!When I ordered, I was given an extra piece of chicken for the 2 chicken and fish deal with fries. It was a good gesture. The spices were mainly salt and garlic powder. Sauces were ketchup, an unidentified hot sauce, Sri Racha, and vinegar.

The seasoning on the chicken and fries was so so good. Freshly made and hot. The sweet potato fries were also delicious. Going to try the fish next time. Menu changes a little based on what's fresh.
