You should run over to see the ladies at The Scoop Waffle & Sweet Shop, ASAP. We had the best experience tonight. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Sunday. They have their own designated parking spots in front of their store which make parking a breeze. There are picnic benches inside the store & outside of the store, so lots of seating to choose from. If you are in the mood for something savory, I highly suggest getting the chili cheese waffle dogs. The chili was delicious & the waffle around the dogs was the perfect touch. If you are in the mood for something sweet, I recommend getting a waffle & ice cream. First - choose your dough: bubble waffle, honey bun bubble waffle, chocolate bubble waffle, or the duffle (donut bubble waffle). Then choose your ice cream. They have about 20 different flavors of hand dipped ice cream (you can try/taste up to 3). Last but not least - decide on your toppings, sauce, & syrup!I also recommend asking about Mary's cobblers that they have hidden away in the back. We tried her cherry cobbler tonight & it was out of this world. The cherries were perfectly juicy and not too tart. I definitely will be back.

The scoop waffle and sweet shop is predominantly an ice cream shop located in new Albany Indiana. They specialize in waffle bubble ice creams and other unique waffle and ice cream themed treats. I actually found this place on my first visit by accident as it use to be the home of a Chicago deep dish pizza place I liked a lot. Since then I've made a second trip out here because the ice cream is great! Ice cream wise I like to get the Double chocolate bubble waffle with moose tracks and chocolate sauce. On other trips I've switched up the ice cream with like a traditional chocolate chip or other chocolate variety (wanna say chocolate chip). But the moose tracks has been my favorite combo. This is an ice cream that not only looks mouth watering but actually backs it up with the taste too. The warm chocolate bubble waffle is a perfect compliment to the moose tracks. My wife usually also gets a waffle and ice cream combo as well. On our most recent visit she for a triple the nuts pre made special and she loved it. The kids usually stick with cookies and cream and they like it. On my most recent visit I did decide to dive in and try a portion of there food menu. I got a very unique dish called a Chili cheese waffle dog. Plenty of cheese and the waffle instead of a bun that was interesting and good. Chili had a sweet taste to it and overall it was pretty good. Growing up I always enjoyed the chili cheese dog and blizzard combination I could get at a Dairy Queen. But this place bubble waffle ice cream and waffle dogs is crushing anything Dairy Queen could offer me. Like most traditional ice cream place you walk to a counter and place your order. On more traditional ice creams they will scoop out in front of you. On bigger items that take time like waffle dogs they will bring out to your table for you. Overall this place is awesome. We will be repeat customers. Great Service, huge menu with tons of options, awesome ice cream and food. We aren't in new Albany often. But when we are we willTry and come here. Probably my new favorite ice cream spot and now that I know there food is good too I have even more to be excited about.

My family of 4 visited today. I was receiving a Yelp Elite treat but wanted them to also experience the ice cream and waffles. Between us we sampled quite a bit of the menu. Everyone was happy about their selection and nothing went wasted, so that's a major feat for us! Our choices: Krazy Kookie Dough ice cream in a waffle cone. My son loves the cake batter base. Bubble waffle plain was huge fluffy. My oldest son added a slice of cheesecake and said "yum" a few times. Bubble waffles come in different flavors. My husband opted for peach cobbler with a side of vanilla ice cream. I stole a bite, really good. I'm going to regret not bringing some home. They had other flavors, including blackberry.I had the double chocolate bubble waffle, which reminded me of a chocolate cupcake flavor. I added the cappuccino ice cream on top. They offer 42 ice cream flavors and most are unique. There's so many I'd like to try!Located in a shopping strip, there's a private parking lot in front. You're around several shopping spots and restaurants so save room for dessert and come here! Uber friendly and helpful staff. Clean, plenty of seating, and love the picnic tables for groups. I had a great first visit to The Scoop tonight with my Mama! The pre-fixed menu they had set up for Yelp Elites covered a wide variety of their expansive menu. I was slightly overwhelmed (in a good way) with the over 40 ice cream flavors (y'all know I'm indecisive), but I told the worker taking orders that I loved peanut butter and they immediately knew just what to recommend. I was given a sample of the honey roasted peanut butter ice cream and it's AMAZING! I was torn between trying a liege waffle with chicken, and something with ice cream. I decided to go with the Red Bubble Waffle, Stuffed with peanut butter cookie and honey roasted peanut butter ice cream. I even requested for peanut butter topping to be placed on top. Can you say peanut butter heaven?! The waffle was fresh and warm and paired well with the ice cream. I grabbed my Mama a scoop of butter pecan on a sugar cone, and she's itching to get back to try the cobbler (blackberry is at the top of her list). I'd also like to try some of the hot food options.The staff was super friendly, there's plenty of parking, the decor is bright and happy, and indoor seating is available. Pricing is fair, especially given the serving sizes. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing is an understatement. Came alllll the way from Elizabethtown to try this and let me tell you what a good decision it was. This place is absolutely heavenly. My boyfriend and I each ordered a waffle with ice cream on top. The warm and cold contrast is excellent and the customization possibilities really allow you to do you. The bites were surreal. I can't wait to come back and try the different waffles and ice creams. We also indulged in some of the regular candy there--it was too tempting! Overall EXCELLENT experience. The service is super friendly and and the desserts are to die for. Would highly recommend and I cannot wait to come back!

I am so late in posting this review, but I got invited to a Valentine's Day Elite Event, and I took my #1 valentine, my son. The Scoop is a short drive from downtown, in a very unassuming building. Inside is anything but unassuming - colorful and whimsical!They have a gajillion different ice cream flavors, including the hard-to-find classics. I chose a scoop of Rum Raisin for my ooey-gooey, buttery blackberry cobbler. It was a homey dessert that reminded me of my grandma.My son had a bubble waffle (red), with hot fudge and cookie dough ice cream. It was stuffed with chocolate cookie. It was very sweet for me, but he devoured it!.The owner (owners?) of the shop were very kind and fun to talk to. We can't wait to go back, and we hope they are around for a long time!

This place is a gem! The wife and I wanted to try the new Dave's hot chicken joint across the way and we stopped here afterwards. DO NOT WALK!!!! BUT RUNNNN to this establishment.
