The Peddler

We had a party of 6 plus a toddler at 7:30 pm on Thursday, 10/31/24. Service was quick and good!Here's what I had:- Poke Stacked Nachos ($15): We all shared. So good! Very generous portion!- Gouda Mac ($14): We all shared. Creamy and rich!- Big Texas Burger ($12): This was sooo good!! Pleasantly surprised! The fries were great too.Everyone who got beer also enjoyed their beer and flights! Fun options!I recommend!

We came here on a Friday night for dinner. We were in Huntington for the Marshall Marathon. It was a little busy in here (it must be good) but we were seated without a wait. Given that it was a marathon weekend, home football game weekend, and a Friday night at a college town that's pretty good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Our server was nice and friendly. You could tell that it's a college town because majority of the servers were college aged people. The wait for our food was about average. We ordered the Top Secret Burger. It was good. We also ordered the Pimento Cheese Bacon Fries Thing (I don't remember the real name for it). It was also delicious. It was fairly big--we split it between two people and still had extra after eating until we both were full. They also give you complementary popcorn (instead of how most restaurants give you complementary bread while you wait for your meal). That was unique. Overall it was a good local place. I recommend coming here if you're in town.

Can't say how the food was. We left after an hour and a half. No food ever made it to our table. On top of that we never got our FREE popcorn. Won't be back.

Great beer selection. They have something for any beer drinker. Fun nostalgic names for food and drinks. Would definitely come back. Might even get the wonton pork nachos and Brawndo (orange Gatorade Sour beer) again.

I was attending a Marshall basketball game with my Dad and brother, and we decided to grab a bite to eat before the game. I was excited to check out the Peddler.We started with the duck fat fries. The fries were cooked in duck fat, hence the name lol. They were hot and tasty. And I enjoyed both dipping sauces, but the beer cheese was my favorite.I ordered the brisket sandwich and it did not disappoint. The brisket was tender and juicy! I also tried my brother's huge shepherd's pie and it was delicious! I cannot forget to mention the gouda mac and cheese. Cooked and served in a cast iron skillet, it was delightful!The service was good and I loved the decor! I would absolutely recommend the Peddler. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items when I am in town.

Wow. Amazing burger you can tell they put thought into being creative with their flavors and have good atmosphere as well with old school games. Worth visiting. Beer selection is okay.

Life changing! No joke, us six dudes dropped in on a last minute dinner whim craving burgers and beers to find this surf the magical nitrous root beer and peanut butter cream wave to the top of culinary art awards. Three of us managed to bite the righteous burger with banana and peanut butter, no words or deeds can properly compare to the mind bending sensation following. The taste buds tingle the mind with the entirely familiar twisted together into hilariously mouth opening in wonder trying to process what is happening. It is rich meaty goodness crowned with sweet yellow jungle fruit given the full love triangle with devious salty peanuts. I now have a new king. Second now goes the French Onion burger from my city of Lafayette, IN served at Bistro 501. But now in this West Virginia restaurant sitting next to the Ohio River, we all cannot rant and rave with ravish boyhood drama enough for The Peddler. The house made buns, beer, atmosphere, attention to detail by the staff, sending us on our way with nitrogenated root beer made in house, and now weeks later still sharing the happy memories of food fitting dreams has sealed this place as worthy of its own National Holiday. In fact our friend's family who we came to visit, they are at The Peddler this weekend. And they have already planned to eat the same again Labor Day weekend. In all my high flying steak house adventures and lowly cash only pubs from coast to coast, not even Flemings Prime Steakhouse where the check went past eight hundred in St Louis, has managed the awesome experience we had here.

Whenever we dine at Peddle, we always have a fantastic time. The food is consistently excellent, and the appetizers are genuinely delightful. The service is friendly and efficient, and the ambiance is lively and enjoyable. Moreover, they have a wide range of vegetarian--and vegan-friendly options, making it an excellent choice for all dietary preferences. I highly suggest visiting them!

The Dig Dug was amazing! The most tender brisket EVER on a delicious homemade bun! Melt in your mouth, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, and real au jus! Man oh man! My honey had the Limp Brisket. He loved it! Blueberry BBQ he said balanced out all the other bunches of flavors going on. We eat the Rosemary Parmesan Truffle fries as an appetizer, the main course and DESSERT! They are even good COLD! The aioli is the triple cherry on top! Thanks for such an excellent place to eat in such great atmosphere. Service was spot on as well!

I felt like the food was very fresh and the service was great. It was a very friendly atmosphere and I would highly suggest it to Friends. Incredible selection of hamburgers and their fries. Do not miss their fries.
