Servicable sandwiches. On par with other places in town.Pizza tasted like Contadina Tomato paste smeared on cardboard. Better pizza at the gas station a couple of blocks away.Service was spotty. Owner/manager just seemed unpleasant... maybe just a bad day. Dunno.

Oh wow what a blast from the past! This was a great experience from start to finish. This is legit the revival of something I thought I'd never see again and I am here for it. Perfect amount of toppings- not skimpy but not so much that they're falling off all the time. Mild sauce and the smoked provolone really stands out and sets it apart. I live between Wilmington and Courthouse and was in Wellston for a funeral, and now I'll have something to reward myself with when I go to take care of the graves. Kinda morbid I know but the pizza is gonna motivate me. So yeah, it's legit, the workers were nice, the place was clean, go get a pie! And THEY CUT IT IN TRIANGLES LIKE GOD INTENDED!

Rocket Pizza is a Wellston staple that was a much-anticipated reopening in the community. I'm happy to say that it did not disappoint! The new owners are super friendly any time I go in and the wings are incredible (and I generally don't even order wings, but I do there!). It tastes like the true Rocket Pizza of my childhood- circa 1990 :)

4.5 stars actual review-but I would rather it be a 5 than a 4. We are in and we greeted by one of the owners-very nice guy who got us drinks and explained the menu-not all items are available yet. They then brought us over a sample of a potential new menu item (calzone) which was quite good. Our pizza came out in a reasonable time and was piping hot. The crust is awesome. Cracker crisp and very very good. The ingredients are high quality and in good volume. We had a pep/mush and a BLT pizza. The BLT is a lovely pizza. Really instaworthy. Maybe a little heavy handed on the house made garlic/mayo sauce but that's ok-we will get half with reg Mayo next time. A little too garlicy for mom but my sister liked it fine. We will go back for the full experience with the boys and dad-us girls has a fine experience. The half a Star was taken away cause it was cold in the dining area. Can't wait to go back!

I was very excited to try "The Patio." Unfortunately, I was beyond disappointed. While my bill was compensated, I waited an extra 30 minutes to be told my food would not be remade and the kitchen was now closed. I ordered a buffalo chicken Mac and received a regular BURNT Mac and cheese with no buffalo or chicken. I was given undercooked mushrooms with the breading still wet. As a drink, I ordered a Lake Alma Lemonade; which consisted of less than a shot of vodka and flat ski pop. A shame after all the hype!

Very nice building and atmosphere! We didn't eat in but we went in to order carry out but it looked like a nice establishment. We heard great reviews and wanted to see what the rave was all about because we were starving! Our cheesy breadsticks were excessively oily. The pizza was okay but not great. Maybe it was something in the sauce or just not a good day for whoever made it because it just tasted off. It was okay but will probably try a different pizza place next time.

Great service & great food! The pretzel bites and the new blondie brownies are a must try! It goes without saying that the pizza is amazing

Pizza was good. Crispy crust, good sauce, cheesy cheese. That's where it ends with accolades. We were not told they only have pizza, not the other things on the menu so we had to change our original order. Then, we waited over 45 mins for one pizza with two toppings. People came in 15 mins after us, got their pizza and were almost done eating before we got ours. Finally, the waitress said they messed up our order and had to remake our pizza. Nothing was done to make it better, just a "sorry". To top it off, we were freezing cold while waiting forever to eat. I had to go to the car and get another jacket, so cold. A child belonging to someone in the restaurant came out of the kitchen. Made us think that this may be part of the distraction that keeps them from delivering decent service. Sorry, lots to be improved on before I would go back and dine there.
