We chose the Main on Main as our reception venue after touring a few places in Lexington and have absolutely no regrets! We chose the MoM for a few reasons: it was close to our ceremony site, provided parking for guests that we could pay for (for a reasonable cost), on-site catering by Dupree, ability to seat our amount of guests, but mainly for the AMAZING skyline view of Lexington as the venue is on the top floor of the Chase building. Mike and I worked with their coordinator Heather, who was wonderful and so helpful throughout the planning process. She is a busy lady, but would always respond back to emails/phone calls whenever she could. We met with her ~5x before the wedding to plan, brainstorm ideas, and review details. She gave a few options for the layout of the reception and how things would "flow" but I deferred to her judgment as I thought she would know what would be the optimal way. For selecting our menu, we had so many options. We decided to do a buffet-style dinner so people could have more choice over their meal. It was honestly so hard to decide on dinner choices because everything sounded delicious. We did a beef tenderloin and chicken meat option, roasted broccolini and smashed potatoes with the sweet potato kale salad- ALL delish. We are still having people tell us how good the food was! The event thanks to Heather and our day-of-coordinator went off without a hitch! I highly recommend the venue as an event space- particularly for wedding receptions!

This is not a public restaurant but you can reserve this place for any kind of events. We had an office party here. The place was pretty spacious to host around 150 people. The view from the top is exhilarating. I am not sure if there are any other places in Lexington which offers a sky view of the city.We had a open bar, and they had pretty decent drinks. The appetizers were good. I didn't have much as I was saving my hunger for the main course. But I heard from my colleagues that the appetizers were equally good as the main course. We were offered 4 main courses and asked to pick one beforehand.1. Grilled Sirloin with Red Wine Horseradish and Chive Butter, crispy garlic marbled potatoes, seasonal roasted veggies, yeast rolls, mixed green salad2. Garlic lavender and wine glazed chicken, wild mushroom gnocchi, shaved brussels sprouts, yeast rolls, mixed green salad3. Bourbon and cider glazed salmon, herb rice pilaf, lemon roasted asparagus, yeast rolls, mixed green salad4. Vegetarian: Grilled ratatouille napoleon, crispy garlic marbled potatoes, seasonal roasted veggies, yeast rolls, mixed green saladI picked Salmon for myself and Vegetarian for my +1.The salmon was amazing. The herb rice pilaf was yummy. Most of my colleagues from my table had the Grilled Sirloin. It looked good and they said good things about it.The main course was supplemented with some good desserts. This is one of the best places I have been recently and I am surprised how very few people in Lexington have heard about this place. This would be a best place for an OYE (Official Yelp Event) so that more Yelpers can yelp about this place and spread the word.

My wife and I just used this as our reception venue less than a week ago. I can say nothing but positives here. The service we were given was beyond exceptional, the food was beyond delicious, and I am beyond thankful to HEATHER and those who made the night so amazing. From the planning phase to the execution to the now post event phase, every single angle of this venue went better than expected. Heather is amazing and those who support her are as well. I have had tons of guests telling me how delicious the food was or how awesome the bartenders were. I couldn't be more satisfied, and I am damn hard to please. Thanks to Heather and the Mane on Mair for a magical reception!

I would love to give this venue a glowing review, but unfortunately, due to the inflexibility and unprofessionalism we encountered from the venue coordinator, Natalie Stice, we are having to take our business elsewhere. Initially, when we first met to see the space and discuss our needs, Natalie assured us that customizing the catering menu (since no outside caterers are permitted, only Dupree Catering) wouldn't be a problem, and mentioned that people frequently requested a specific recipe be used or asked the chef to copy a certain dish from a local restaurant. We wanted a simple pasta meal and went over in detail how we wanted the food to taste. Natalie told us she'd send us a pricing proposal and we didn't hear from her again until nearly a week later, after I had already emailed her to ask when we could expect to receive it. In my previous email conversations with her, she would take multiple business days to write a brief reply, even though I expressed to her the urgency of securing a venue, so I was disappointed but not surprised that we hadn't gotten a proposal back yet. She called and gave a number of excuses as to why they 'wouldn't be a good fit for us' because the chef couldn't be 'creative' with what we wanted. She also said the chef 'didn't feel comfortable' copying another chef--even though she'd confidently told me before that they regularly do that. If you don't allow outside caterers, at least be willing to make what we want to eat! She also seemed to have an issue with the fact that we would have under 100 people in attendance, which she didn't seem to have had a problem with before. We're in the middle of a pandemic so yes, it needs to be a small crowd. She even made the excuse that the price margins wouldn't be very good on a simple pasta dinner for a small crowd--I explained to her that we would be happy to pay whatever rate they charged, and wanted to do whatever we needed to do to make this work. However, I definitely got the impression that Natalie simply didn't want to put in the small amount of extra effort a custom catering menu would be.

This venue in Lexington is absolutely fabulous! The Mane On Main is located on the 15th floor and has a breathtaking view of downtown Lexington! During this time of year, the beautifully placed lights dance off of buildings, trees and off of moving vehicles traveling down its wonderful streets. The bar is WONDERFUL and classy looking and is set in a space that can be used as a main space or pre-party. The second area attached by french doors is set on the corner of the building with a breathtaking view itself! There is a kitchen attached giving wait staff easy and swift access so guests never have to wait too long. A huge plus is that there are 4 elevators which ensure guests won't have to wait forever or feel they have to cram themselves into 1 or 2 elevators. This location is close to the street which offers metered parking during the day with free parking in the evening. There are also parking garages located in its vicinity. Security guards are on the premises.
