Please do yourself a favor and visit The Last Refuge. I'm honestly shocked that more people aren't talking about this place. Service was incredible, the space is beautiful, and every single thing we ordered was amazing. I wish I could remember our server's name, because she was such a gem.* Devilish Eggs - bourbon pickled mustard seeds, mama's peppers, smoked sea salt, herbs.* Manhattan on Market - Haven's Door Refuge rye, vermouth, banana liqueur, amaretto, old fashioned bitters.* Dry Country Lemonade - Ritual Zero Proof gin, lemon, egg white, vanilla, soda water, orange flower water spritz.* King of Kings Pizza - Kentucky proud country ham, oyster mushrooms, pecorino, arugula, nut free truffle pesto.* Purgatory Pizza - spicy meatballs, soppressata, mozzarella, provolone, sport peppers, mama lil's peppers, hade's honey, chili threads, pizza sauce.* Mexican chocolate and raspberry crème brûlée. (On special).

Got a pizza called the Sacreligious something or other. Tasted like someone looked up a recipe for easy pizza dough, went to Kroger to buy the ingredients, and did the best they could. I know this because it tasted exactly like the time I looked up a recipe for easy pizza dough, went to Kroger to buy the ingredients, and made a mediocre pizza. Also had the Holy Fire Dip. Basically cream cheese and franks hot sauce with some chicken cubes. It was fine. I guess. Service sucked also. Didn't give me the type of table I reserved.Big ol' wall of whiskey was cool though!!!!!!

We went here for date night- great atmosphere with the bourbon wall, such a fun conversation and "ispy" game along with great food! We had the Purgatory Pizza which was the perfect combination of spicy and sweet. 12 inches was great to split between 2 people. My husband had the Golden Clovis signature cocktail which he really enjoyed. Would recommend!

OMG this place was amazing! Our Uber driver actually told us about this place, otherwise we wouldn't have known! It's an old church turned into a bar, owned by Bob Dylan. The front room is reminiscent of the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney and the main room has the most impressive spirits wall ever. It's two stories high and it truly the centerpiece of the room. We were blown away by the beauty of this installment! We originally planned to have a drink and move on but once we saw the beauty of this place we just couldn't leave. There was a DJ taking song requests and the vibe was great, it was upbeat but the music wasn't so loud that we couldn't hear eachother talk. We ended up staying for many drinks and ordered a pizza and truffle popcorn, both were delicious. We were so happy that our Uber driver gave us the info about The Last Refuge, I will definitely be back next time i'm in town!

Really cool ambiance, great service & great drinks...pizza left a lot to be desired. I noticed most patrons were only having drinks...this caught my attention. With such a small menu, the pizza should have been spot on. I hope they can work out the menu as this is such a cool place.

Such a cool place. Beautiful spaces - enough options you can be in with the crowd or in a small intimate booth. When fully opened different areas would be reservable for events. Features Bob Dylan's bourbon- he explained that the cogs pictured on the bottle represent the sculptures he makes/sells and then gives the profits to charity. Can't wait for all the spaces to open!! It's so refreshing to see church space revitalized!!

We stopped by during the soft opening and so glad we did!!The space is so neat, I love how they've divided up the church and created spaces. The only downfall is the seating, there's not enough and the bench seating along the wall is awkward. We really enjoyed our drinks and pizza. Can't wait to see what their full menu looks like!

The Last Refuge may very well be my new favorite place for dinner and drinks. Conveniently located in Nulu, this church turned bar, restaurant, and venue, boasts a comfortable yet intimate dining area. From the decor (1,200 bottles of bourbon), the dim, lighting, the leather and velvet seating, and the live music they've really nailed the ambiance. We shared the Parishioner's Popcorn- an unexpected offering that was surprisingly good- and the Divine Pesto Ricotta pizza. Finally, although it's not a cocktail featured on the menu, I ordered an espresso martini with tequila and it was hands down the best espresso martini I've had.
