We at of the Food truck for 1st time, Everyone was friendly. There menu on the truck changes daily.So you need to go online to look at menu.I had the Rebellion, It was beans rice kind of a gumbo, Had it in spicy. (It was just good & warm.)My wife had the Jer Kale and she liked it.We shared a order of Geurilla fries.It was worth coming back to.

Wow!! This guy makes good food. It's not a great place to eat in though, get it to go. It's inside a dive bar that is closed during the day. When I have been there to pick up food, the interior was dark and quiet. This is the kind of place that you can find some of the best food. It's truly a hidden gem.The owner lived in New Orleans and he makes the best chicken and sausage gumbo that you can get in Kentucky. I have tried as many as I can find. The wings are very good and he spends 2 days making them, from marinading to smoking them. Something that you absolutely must get when you go there is a Love Muffin. In fact, you may want 2 or 3! They are made with cornmeal and have corn kernels in them but they are almost like a sweet cake and incredibly moist.I highly recommend this place and the prices are reasonable as well. He offers a lunch special with 6 wings, a big cup of gumbo and a Love Muffin for $6.99. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I was lucky enough to catch The Jerk food truck at Blue Stallion Brewery. The thing I immediately was impressed with was how friendly they are! Aside from that the wet, hot wings were really good. The standout though are the loaded gumbo fries. They are a MUST have!

It has been awhile since a place gave me a culinary experience that you long for... last night was one of those.For anyone looking for some amazing food... The Jerk is the real deal! The smoke on the chicken is real pimento wood! The flavor runs deep and is the best I have had in America by far. Ask for some extra heat and they will make it for you... careful what you ask for cause he can make a sauce that will have your lips tingling for awhile. Also, I love this paired with the peach hefe! We tried them last night The menu is diverse and there is a blend of Jamaican and Creole/ Cajun... they have soooo much to offer and I can't wait to have tried it all... Gastrognomes was the last food truck in town that was this good. Crown the new king cause this truck is rocking some great food!

Loved the food! Gumbo is amazing! Chicken wings have great flavor! You can tell everything is fresh and seasoned well!

I come from a family of Jamaican descent and have been looking for the authentic taste of my homeland and thanks to Mr. Ramon and the Jerk food truck I have finally found the delicious taste of real Jamaican food (with a twist!) right here in Lexington, KY. Get on the website and track this truck down, and trust, the experience you'll have when the Rebellion Bowl or the Guerilla Fries or any other menu item hits your lips will heavenly. WOW! What am amazing new dining establishment. It is all I love in a business, locally owned and unique, a great addition to the neighborhood and most importantly the food is so good., I read some other reviews saying best burger in town... I say one of the best EVER. I was completely taken by surprise. The taste was incredible and the portion large enough I ate till I was full and snacked on leftovers for the rest of the night. The food is delicious and the service was exceptional! I had the rebellion fries with jerk chicken, so good! I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu.
