I booked brunch here for my daughter's 8th birthday with the ladies of the family. We arrived with our party of six only to find out I accidentally made the reservation for the day before without realizing it. The hostess was very sweet and they somehow managed to get us in right away. I was so thankful and my daughter adored the place. I don't even like biscuits, but these biscuits are DELICIOUS. Our table of six shared one order and we were all about full! I got the strawberry crunch salad and that was yummy as well. My daughter was 100% in her element and we had an amazing morning here. Would come back over and over.

My wife and I ate at The House of Marigold recently and the service was great, the food was very good and the ambiance was good. A 5 star experience. PLUS they DID NOT charge me a 3% penalty for the way I chose to pay them!

Brunched here on New Year's Day. It is so cute in here. For the holidays, all the decor was in pink tones and my daughter adored that. We were with family from out of town and wanted to treat them to something easy, laid back, but also delicious and highly acclaimed. We live in the adjoining neighborhood, and house of marigold fit the bill! Our server was lovely and so friendly. She was accommodating and I would love to have her as my server again. I was late with my two littles and missed her name, but she was so sweet! Most of the table had chicken and biscuits. That portion is serious and the meal is delicious! This is what I had the one other time I visited this restaurant, so I chose differently. Since it was a fresh start, a new year and it sounded just perfect, I had the avocado toast with an over medium egg. Delicious! So much avocado, but I loved the accents of radish and grapefruit. I also ordered a gingerbread house made pop tart and absolutely loved it. My kids each had half waffles. The kids menu is spoken and consists of the half waffle, an egg/sausage or bacon/toast plate, or chicken tenders. Basic choices and they were not disappointed. I find the menu here to be a conundrum and that's why I capped this off at 4 stars. Most of this menu is SO heavy. Some is incredibly light. I find there is little in the middle. It's hard not to come here and splurge. I did well on this front with the avocado toast. (Don't judge my pop tart. I'm not.) but I feel this isn't a place I can dine often, because so much heavy choices! I drank water this day, and abstain from alcohol always, but the beverage menu was extensive. There are several teas I might have selected. There is *not* apple juice. This isn't uncommon in restaurants, but we do find brunch and breakfast places usually have it. The juice options were cranberry, orange and pineapple. Basically the cocktail mixer type. Also milk was available. Just as an fyi, for parents especially!

I've returned a handful of times since my initial visit and am finding it space I'm not in a hurry to return to. It is super wise that you book a reservation in advance, especially on the weekend. Once the spots are taken you'll notice the reservation feature turns off.I came today at 11a for brunch. The parking lot was insane and people were everywhere. Perfect recipe for road rage. The space is LOUD - I'm being completely sincere in saying do not come here with anyone hard of hearing or easy to overstimulate. You must come with people that are willing to yell across the table at one another. Service is semi-slow because of the busyness of the space. For the most part, no issue, but wish they'd leave a small pot of coffee and cream so that we wouldn't have to flag down our server. Food is good and while I've had several items there isn't anything that stands out, making it feel overpriced for the experience. I think it's time to take a break from House of Marigold. Maybe it'll graduate to a bigger space in the future that's more enjoyable to visit.

Such a cute vibe! Great spot for brunch with friends. Be warn, they get pretty busy. Plan ahead, make reservations.Ordering was prompt. I got the farmhouse breakfast plate, sub toast for biscuit (+$2?), and added an order of gravy. I really wanted to try their biscuits and gravy. I'm so glad I did! Those biscuits are delicious and large!! I love that the gravy was not OVERLY salty. Though, I did wish they were not so thick -- this is more of a preference and absolutely not a diss on their gravy which is totally recommend any day!Looking forward to returning and trying some of their cocktails.

I have been hearing SO much hype about this place for the last year or so and I decided that it was finally time to try it. I made a reservation for 3 on a Monday and it was absolutely needed. The place was packed! True to the reviews, the restaurant is pretty much a Pinterest board come to life, especially with the Christmas decor up. It is very loud so hopefully they can add some more sound abatement in the coming months. I chose the chicken salad croissant for my entree and it was delicious. I don't know what was so different about it but I absolutely loved it. The homemade chips are nice, as well. The portions were very good for the price. Our waitress, Leslie, was wonderful. She was so helpful and kind. I will be back!

We had a great brunch here and when I'm back in the area I'll likely return to try some of the other options. I had the brisket hash, my spouse the big breakfast biscuit. We also indulged in the chocolate mousse cake afterwards. Good coffee drinks, the brisket was super tasty (the potatoes good and plentiful but more than one fried egg and/or sauce would help cream up that large platter of potatoes), and my wife was thoroughly please with the biscuit sandwich from the expertly cooked egg to the crispy on top soft in the middle biscuit by way of house-made sausage patty. Our server was very friendly and helpful, ambience is solid. We were told it would be a 45 minute wait but they had us in less than 20 minutes.

The decor knocks your socks off as soon as you walk in. Christmas is in the air. The food was delish and so many options. I love having a Beet salad. My mom ordered chicken and waffles and she said it's the best meal she's had in months. The service was prompt and friendly . You may want to make reservations, we visited on a Monday mid morning. Very impressed, I've been wanting to visit for a while.

My sister has been here a couple times and suggested it for brunch one Sunday. There weren't anymore reservations online so we came right when they opened at 9am.There were a few groups here and there but they weren't busy as of yet. Parking was easy too. Kind of becomes a headache if you come during peak time cuz there are literally no more spots left!We ordered the salmon dip to share. Delicious! Very filling and a great way to whet the appetite. For our entrees, I wanted the brisket hash but our server said they were phasing it off the menu since it wasn't popular. I ended up getting chicken and waffles while my mom got the hot chicken biscuit and my sister got the waffle with peaches.Nothing is overly sweet or salty which was good. Nothing was greasy either. The food was okay. The chicken tasted like if it was cooked a bit longer it would've been dry. Not sure why but nothing from the menu interested me. Only the apps seemed unique. I would come back to try the deviled eggs since it seemed popular! It's beautifully decorated with nice furniture. I liked the color palette and the flower theme. I'm assuming they were paying homage to the fact that this used to be a flower shop (before it was Royal's). Great place to hang! I tried the cappuccino and my sister got a black coffee while my mom got hot chocolate. I'm sure you could come and just get drinks and apps!
