I didn't know this was an after school hangout. I was told this is every school day. It was packed with kids, screaming and yelling back and forth. There wasn't anyplace to sit, and most had nothing to eat or drink. If it's going to be a daycare, then they should at least stop being a coffee shop and charge daycare prices. They would make a lot more money. I had been here earlier a few times and it was nice. But this is the 2nd time dealing with the kids.

On a visit to Adams county, this was stop number one. Adorable little house repurposed into a coffee shop...points right there! Wonderful hospitality, delicious coffee and perfect seating. They even had a box for people to request prayers! Will def be back some day

This place is right off of State Rt 41 and hard to miss. The atmosphere is quaint and unique. Staff is very warm and welcoming. It makes all the difference. This is deep, rural Ohio. As Indian Americans it was important to us to find a good, safe place (especially with current spate of violence against AAPI). This place made us feel very welcome. I docked one star because literally no one was wearing masks. They do have a sign on the front that says "maaks required" but none of the employees or other patrons were following the rule. Good place to grab a quick bite and some coffee. They have smoothies too. I found out that they are a popular afterschool hangout for local highschool kids. Highschool lets out at 2PM and Elementary at 3:30. So the older siblings hang back for younger ones. Thats so cool that they help keep kids safe. The lady who works there will sometimes stick littke notes under chairs with prizes on them. The kid who sits on the chair wins. They also have bible study there every Thursday..The house itself was built in 1800s. It originally sat in the middle of where SR 41 passes through today. It used to be owned by a doctor when the highway work started in 1900s. He paid to have it moved to the current spot, maintaing its charm and character.

Love this place. Met some girlfriends, we each ordered different coffees and Danishes. Everyone liked what they ordered. The scone was cakelike. Cozy home feeling in beautiful old house. Great smells coming from the kitchen. Nice bathroom. Lost a point because pastries were fresh baked from frozen but not made here.

Great little place for a latte or soup and a sandwich followed by a latte and a cinnamon roll. Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant is excellent. A terrific find when we were working in the area from Seattle. Don't take your coffee to go - take your time and sit by the fireplace on a cold day. The coffee is very good and the peppermint latte is the best I've had.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The coffee is amazing and they have Amish baked goods as well. I enjoy sitting outside on the porch and letting the kids run in the front yard. It's the perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday morning. So relaxing!

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to Serpent Mound. The staff and owner could not have been more welcoming and friendly.Filled us in on the various options and food was served promptly.Interior décor is cute and a nice east-facing porch makes your morning coffee extra special.Food was delicious and the coffee products were excellent.Highly recommended. Staff doesn't wear masks. So be aware if you are high risk.

I would love to give this place a good review. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, great story to the place, and the coffee was fine. I love to support small businesses like this one. Unfortunately, in the midst of COVID-19 and the state mask mandate, none of the staff were wearing masks when I walked in. One of the three staff present eventually put one on, but the other two didn't.
