Gross flat bread that was inedible and overly cheesed. Tomatoes were soggy and unappetizing, tasted like gas station food. Chunks of cheese.

Gross. Open faced mess, glued to the plate with baby vomit "cheese sauce" that was tasteless and soggy. The Kentucky Brown.

Mammoth burger was flavorful and good sized. Cheese curds were super tasty. Pinto beans were DELICIOUS! Served with purple onion and tasty cornbread.

I'm surprised people have reviewed it so poorly because we had a great experience for lunch between cave tours. Service was lovely and the Strawberry Salad was really good and very fresh. I understand if you were to come here for a nice dinner that it might not meet expectations but highly recommend for lunch for a salad or wrap!

Only dinner option at the caves & we want to catch the 6:30 ranger led tour so this is dinner. The menu has 8 choices, there are more adult beverages to choose from. We were seated on a boring restaurant with a view of the parking lot. What made the grill were the poster size black & white photographs about the caves on the walls. Our waitress seemed surprised that we are sharing a flatbread pizza for dinner & starting with side salads. The warm rolls were delicious. The salad was Costco greens with a pouch of Kens dressing. The pizza had pesto, tomatoes & cheese. Dinner for 2 with tax & tip was $22

Sweet Emma hooked us up with some great service at opening of the Mammoth Cave NP restaurant. Cool historic pictures on the wall and nice Christmas decorations. Best service ever at a NPS restaurant - thanks Emma. We enjoyed a great country breakfast - including eggs scrambled with cheese and some thick country bacon & spicy sausage.

Hard to rate since it's been closed since 2021 for major renovations. It looks like it will be nice but you would think someone would have posted on Yelp that it's not open. There is nowhere close to eat if you are staying at the park. Again, it would have been nice if we would have been told that.

Terribad. Food is gross, probably meant for kids that don't care or hungry hikers that will eat anything. Ordered the Kentucky sandwich, Mammoth Burger, BBQ Sliders and the flat bread. Everything was tasteless, overly cheesed, soggy (flat bread was literally a goop of bread smothered in cheese) and even the fries were cold. The service was mediocre and even got my drink wrong, and the food took forever to come out. I don't know why, since it looked like gas station food that had been microwaved. Next time I will save myself $50 bucks and go to the Quick stop or 7-11 for this quality. Yuck. Don't expect much, because you won't get it. I couldn't even pick up my sandwich as it was "open-faced" and glued to the plate under a mountain of "cheese sauce" that looked like baby vomit. I'd give zero stars if possible.

If you have any love for yourself then do not order the Kentucky hot brown. Literally a soggy piece of bread topped with lunch meat, two random tomato slices and bacon, and you can't forget the cheese slop!! That part really brought the whole dish together going from just nasty to putrid! My sister got a burger and it was mid, but plz don't order the cheese slop baconator - I had diarrhea so you don't have to :)

My husband and I went for dinner at the Green River Grill at the Lodge at Mammoth Cave. We went right at opening for dinner and it was busy. The hostess greeted me 3 times before seating us. It was very plain and generic inside. No ambiance at all. Our server was nice and brought a basket of biscuits right away. I had the trout and fries and was very happy with both. My husband also had the trout but with a loaded baked potato which he was happy with. They had live music, I guess since it was the weekend but it was too loud for the space and everyone was just ignoring it so I felt bad for them.

Food is mediocre at its best. Way overpriced for what you get. Sweet tea was great. The hot brown sandwich was dry and tasteless. Down under hamburger had some flavor from the cheese, tomato, lettuce and sautéed onions(option) but the meat was dry and flavorless.

While the ambiance is a little lacking, the service here was absolutely amazing and the servers were super friendly. We actually ended up eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner here because we're staying in the cottages here and this was one of the few food options. All three meals were great and they have different menus for each meal. Breakfast was a $15 buffet and the other two meals were table service. The burgers at lunch were good and we had amazing salads for dinner. The Kentucky derby pie was one of the best desserts I've had in a while!
