The Granville Pub

I'm shocked that seems to be my first review for The Granville! Love this place! They have a great happy hour- even on a Friday!- but prices are good all the time. This is a place that feels like it's been here forever- probably because it has!

Had it delivered by UberEats. That was fine. All meat pizza, not great. The toppings have zero flavor. Crust tastes like corn chips. My lady got the buffalo wings. She said the sauce was spicy/hot and quite yummy. She will order again. I probably won't have the pizza again Louisville has too many yummy pizzas to enjoy.

This was my first time getting takeout from here rather than ordering in. And I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!The delivery was quick, and my food was still fresh and hot. I got a buffalo sandwich and it was cooked absolutely wonderfully. The chicken was so easy to cut through and the bread was toasted nicely.Now, the Mac n cheese is where they fell short. It's been a while since I've got mac & cheese from them, but I guess I forgot about the rotini noodles. Was not a fan of the noodles or the cheese sauce they used.Overall, I'd still probably order from them for something quick and easy. I just avoid the mac & cheese.

Got a chicken wrap to go with potato salad. It was decent. The price was reasonable. My order was for takeout. Looked like a good place to belly up to the bar and have some beers. Lots of TVs with sports on. Looked clean. Street parking. Takeout orders are in the wayyyyy back. Ignore the sign at the bar. Patio also looked nice.

Met some friends here for supper last Sunday after watching a documentary at the Speed Museum. I was quite surprised at how wonderful this local institution turned out. The service was wonderful and the food was on point . The grilled chicken wrap that I ordered was tasty. The wrap was as crispy and the seasoned fries were not greasy. For dessert I ordered the pretzel with caramel sauce. The sauce enhanced the warm pretzel wonderfully.Clean place with street parking. The drink special depends on what day it is. Will definitely come back.

Really enjoy visiting Granville every time I'm in Louisville visiting my son. Great service and a great menu.

I've been here several times and always great. But I came for burger week and had the special. Again it didn't disappoint.

One of the few remaining dives that I go to, occasionally. I feel like with the recent renovations, that might not be that recent, they are upgrading from dive status.Unfortunately, it's still kind of a lovable shit hole aimed at the youths, read: college students, nearby. The food is average. Some drinks are cheap, but I think it is priced similar to other bars.I really only come for nostalgia sake when I'm with friends from UL. Not really a draw for me since I live pretty far away.

Dive bar enthusiasts, this is your place! Not to mention a longtime favorite of UL students and alums. We visited as a family on a Friday afternoon during happy hour which got us cheaper beer, fried pickles and chips with queso. The Granville Burger and fries are a fan favorite. The club is huge and my son loved it, but it didn't beat the burger. Our orders were accurate despite several modifications to toppings or asking for things on the side. The team seating and serving was so friendly. We felt very welcomed today and it was fun to bring our sons to a spot we enjoyed as college students. Street parking is easy to find. Pool table and TVs to stay caught up on sports.
