Like the name, cafe! It's homemade sandwiches! Very good! Fair price! Our fav is the chicken salad! Big chunck of chicken with mayo, pecans and grapes! Yummy!! I want more just writing this! They have a very very very good chicken salad! If you love chicken salad sandwich, you have got to try this cafe! I love mine in a croissant, it comes with chips and pickle. You changed substitute chips with their cold salad! Great staff too!!! They have awesome tomato soup too! However, it is seasonal! They also cater! The don't really have a big selections of menu! So if you're looking for something light, this is the place! Oh, when you order your sandwich, remember to ask for a half sandwich. they aren't stingy with their sandwich meat, so you'll be full easily! Enjoy this place! Yelpers should try!

This my favorite lunch place by my work. The chicken salad is amazing. I also recommend the pimento cheese sandwich on pretzel bread. It's essentially the best grilled cheese you ever had. If you are in the Walton area this is a great alternative to fast food restaurants. They have many healthy options.

So, it's called The Gourmet Cafe but they don't serve coffee. Cafe means coffee. Girl was very nice though. Just thought that was strange.

If you are looking for homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries and other delights you have found your place. Open for breakfast and lunch Mon - Sat, they will satisfy your hunger with fresh food put together with love. I come here frequently and also cater work lunches with them. They are simply a step above any other operation. You will not be disappointed. Dine in, carry out and they cater as well.

Have been here several times... Love it!!! Had their special today a 1/2 veggie sandwich and Acorn Squash Currie soup. It was incredible. Love their chicken salad and Pimento Cheese. Everything is made there. Used them to help cater for my husbands 50th birthday party.

I REALLY want to like this place. We recently moved from Chicago and I've really been looking for mom and pop kind of places with good food. First time I came here it was a Saturday, they're closed on Saturdays, which for me is really when we're out and about and would like to go to a place like this. So that kinda stinks. Second time my husband happened to have off one day during the week, which doesn't happen much, and I talked him into coming here, unfortunately they were out of EVERYTHING. The woman, I'm assuming is the owner (?), wasn't very apologetic about it either. She seemed stressed, which was fine, I guess. She seemed like she was there alone. I had the pimento cheese grilled cheese (not on the pretzel bread someone recommended, they were out), and the pimento cheese was amazing! They sell the cheese by the container: I made a mental note of that. Third time I came here I just wanted to buy a container of the cheese, I was going to visit my sister out of town and wanted to take this cheese so she could see how amazing it was, I walk up to the door and there's a chalk board sign with something scribbled on it, something like, "Opening today at noon due to...something something." Couldn't make it out. I look at my phone, 1 o'clock. Sweet. I tug on the door: LOCKED! BLAST IT, I want my pimento cheese!!! I look in the window and see the same woman who served me last time standing looking at something at the counter. I pull on the door again, she looks, and goes back to what she was doing!!! I have NO idea what was going on! Needless to say, I didn't get my cheese! Not sure I'll ever go back, darn it! I can only be tugged around so much before I quit! I can make sandwiches with Boar's Head meat at home! :-(
