The Goldenrod Tavern

Had lunch today at the Goldenrod Tavern. The food and service was very good. We'll definitely be back to try their Dinner menu.

I love this little shop. They always have cute and unique stuff! They have clothes, jewelry, and different little knick knacks. I try to go every few weeks because they are constantly getting new stuff in. I was so glad when they reopened after COVID-19 closures.They carry a GREAT brand of jeans called JAG. They are in style and sooooo comfortable! I will be going there first when I need new jeans!

A group of 10 of us went there for lunch today. The food and the service were amazing! I had the club and fries which were delicious. Several had the Frisco burger and they all really enjoyed it. I loved the fries. Several got onion rings and enjoyed them as well. The customer service is top-notch! We will be back!

Stopped in on a Thursday for lunch with my sister, and had a great time. The room feels bright and airy, and the background music allowed conversation at normal speaking volume (!!!) which made it so pleasurable. I had the Rueben Sandwich (corned beef shaved paper thin and SO tender) which was really good, and a glass of wine. The wine list is not extensive, but I really liked the Red Zin I had, so that's fine with me. They also offer a whole page of delicious-sounding cocktails; I can't wait for warmer days to enjoy a cocktail on the front deck or the back patio. Give it a try!
