The Engine House- Pub and Pizza Parlour

Stopped off the exit to try a new pizza place I had seen online. The place was decked out for Halloween, so much so that we thought it might have been their decor. The pizza was worth the stop. We tried something new with The Tater. It was a perfect thin pizza crust, topped with bacon, potato slices and a little ranch dressing. For a kick we took them up on the offer to make it shaped into a heart. It did not disappoint, we will try to come back!

Wow. Great food, local beer, great service. We were passing through at lunch time. Fully decorated for Halloween, so much to look at. Tried the local West 6th Amber Ale, wonderful. We split a salad which was delicious and a classic Calzone. Which was greereeaaat!

My wife and I decided to venture out some while we were staying at Fort Boonsboro. Looked for local places as we were driving towards Winchester and stumbled upon this spot. Kind of a trendy little place. Very eclectic decor. The staff was very friendly as we were there for a late lunch. We ordered a salad and their pizza as well as some adult beverages. They were kind enough to split the salad for us. I thought the pizza was pretty darn good! Was a little disappointed regarding our adult beverages. They didn't have the ingredients for cocktails that were on their menu. I settled for a couple of their beers, one of which ran out after the first tap. As we said earlier, very eclectic and trendy spot. Worth a stop.

Excellent pizza and sandwich place in Winchester. My first time in the state of Kentucky and my godparents said not to expect much for good food. This place did not disappoint. We just ordered what the waitress recommended: their most popular pizza, the cheese bread appetizer, and a hot ham sandwich. We added the caprese salad to have some veggies. The pizza and sandwich came with potato and crab salad. We liked the potato salad better. We also got hot cocoa for my 7 year old and she went all out with cute Valentine sprinkles and giant heart shaped pink and white marshmallows he loved. I could barely get him to let me have one of them. The decor was incredible as I have never seen any place more decked out for Valentine's Day! Definitely recommend this place and will come back next month when I return to visit my godparents. Thank you!

Love this home town pub I'm from Connecticut and have been to Winchester twice both times having a pizza here sitting at the bar talking with the bartenders The pizza itself is worth the trip then the drink selection is good if looking for that, the decor is always something as it gets changed for seasons or events perfect hometown setting

Engine House is one of my favorite hidden gems in Winchester! They have the best pizza and drinks, and the bar is always full of colorful locals who are friendly and engaging.

Todays lunch was at The Engine House Pub and Pizza Parlor in Winchester, KY.They are conveniently located at the corner of Main Street and West Lexington Avenue. I had heard and read some mixed reviews and while in town, decided to give it a try.When we arrived, we were greeted by Tiffany our waitress who was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations of menu items.I decided on The Winchester pizza. A hand tossed pizza with marinara,  mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, onion, mushrooms, black olives and green peppers. I ordered the 10" pizza and when it came out, it was a very generous size (as seen in photo). Since each pizza is hand tossed, many times, the pizzas are larger than the size ordered. The toppings were plentiful and the pizza was very tasty.My wife had the Pizza Bites which are 4 dough bites that are stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella. Served with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. She said that they were ok, but it was obvious that they needed to be cooked a little longer until they were golden brown. I think that would have made a difference in texture and taste.Overall, a good place for lunch or dinner.

I love that they have unique pizzas. I have been a few times and like to try something new every time. They go all out on decorations for the holidays. Halloween would have to be my favorite.

We had the meatballs and two diifferent pizzas. Winchester pizza and the Momoa. Thin crust, great amount of toppings. over the top service. Great pizza. Yes, it is pricey, but not over the top for custom pizzas. Well worth it. It's a must try in downtown Winchester.

Love Engine House! Pizza is delicious, staff is friendly and courteous. On my second visit, the place was randomly packed on a Wednesday night. The bartender was only server and she killed it. She kept apologizing for being slow. I told her she was being a rockstar!! Great place!!
