The price for mauhi mauhi under $30 with sides is unheard of! The staff are all high school students who are learning about waiting. It's a super cool concept with a great bakery attached to it. I only wish it was open more days during the week!

Limited hours and menu changes from week to week. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Got a full size pot pie and it made several people happy. Got some desserts and made that smiles eve larger. Definitely check it out but check their Facebook page for times and menu.

My dad asked me if I wanted to go for a drive along the river. It was 830am so I came along in the hopes that we'd find some coffee. We did find some coffee at a convenience store, but more importantly, we found the cutest little bakery that you should definitely support if you find yourself in Maysville. The College Cafe is a bakery/restaurant that keeps the oddest hours. The reason behind that is it's Maysville's culinary school and the cafe side is only open when class in session. The bakery is open between classes. We rolled up right as their Wednesday hours start (10:30am) and the interaction leading up to me going inside the shop went like this:Me: Ooh dad, look! A bakery!Random stranger: It's a great bakery! You should totally go in!Me: *Proceeds to run across the street and nearly gets run over by a car coming up to the intersection. In my defense, there was a stop sign. The car was driving slowly so had I been hit, I think I would have been okay. I may have earned some money for those pesky student loans. Once I was safely inside the bakery, I found a display case full of goodies. The items are a hodgepodge of things because it's whatever the class learned to make that morning or afternoon. Their prices are super reasonable. I bought a s'mores brownie and a chocolate sea salt tart. Both items came to $4.50 total. I didn't try the tart but the brownie was delightful. I was afraid the marshmallows wouldn't hold up to the car ride home, but they were still gooey when I opened up my package a couple hours later. If you're in Maysville and the College Cafe is open, I'd highly recommend stopping by. The treats are inexpensive and you're supporting a culinary school and their careers!
