Stopped in at this place on our way home from Gatlinburg. Cute little cozy Irish Bar. We ordered the Cod, came with 3 large pieces... I absolutely loved the portion sizes here. The Cod meal could easily be shared by 2 people. The generous portion they offered was cooked to order and promptly served. The Beer cheese was so yummy. The steak cut curly fries had great seasoning also. We would definitely stop in again for a good fish basket & some beer cheese!!!

Cool little joint. First time in Kentucky and this was a place to grab a great mixed drink. I would definitely recommend if you're in town. Thanks to the bar tender for making that sweet tea mixed drink. Wow! I had two and wanted a third.

I hate this place and at some point I am going to stop trying to get food here. Tonight, after 15 mins, the bartender was informed by the kitchen that they are out of the food that all four of the folks at my table ordered. Then the pickles came out under cooked. At this point I am beyond hangry. We have been here for over an hr and just got the pickles. Once food finally arrived, it was ok. My burger was well done and dry but at this point, how can I complain...it's good after all. Can someone also explain to me how an Irish Pub have rap music playing??? Thankfully I asked the bartender, Althea, to change it and she put on a sea shanty! Lol! Honestly, the bartenders were the saving grace of every experience we have had here. BTW, they have been out of meatloaf each time I have come here after the first time. So sad we cannot have better in Williamsburg.

Stopped by while I was down town. Figured I'd try the burger. It had great flavor and the beer cheese definitely was a great choice on this burger.

I had been wanting to try this place for some time, as I'm a sucker for pub food. And given that the Corbin/Whitley area is experiencing something of a food "Renaissance", I had high hopes. First, the good. The atmosphere is awesome. No one is going to mistake this for a legitimate old-school pub, but the lighting and setup were great. The band playing was solid, and their Halloween decorations were on point. Also, the service was decent. The ladies behind the bar were hustling, and I never had issues getting anyone's attention. As for the food, I ordered fish and chips. The person who waited on me told me they were solid. And I will say, the fries were fantastic. Kind of a weird twisty potato edge. I was for it. So, now the bad. The fish was an absolute joke. When the basket was set in front of me, I immediately wondered if I'd only gotten a half order. One flat piece of dry fried fish, arguably the size of my hand (and I'm not a big guy). I could have even overlooked that, but the quality was unbelievably poor. The edges were hard, the breading was falling off, and it just had no real flavor to speak of. Had someone told me I'd gotten a piece of frozen fish from Walmart, I wouldn't have believed them. Frozen fish from Walmart is better than this. To boot, the meal was $14 after tax. For that price, I should have had leftovers. GOOD leftovers. When I left, I drove to Cook-Out and bought a $1.39 cheese quesadilla, because I was still genuinely hungry. Now, I will say, the other dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen looked solid. I saw a burger and Irish nachos which made me instantly envious. But if you're going to open a pub, you have to serve fish and chips. And they have to be good. What I had was far from good. I'd consider going back to try some other things, but the kitchen really needs to step it up on their fish game.

I've made multiple trips here passing through, it has slowly declined. Tonight the staff say at the bar on their phones, bartender had no idea what Tanqueray was, no tonic.. no dark beer.. no intelligence.... I drank lite beer.. it was safer. Cute blonde, customer had to yell at her to get her attention for a drink . From the appearance.... They have plenty to clean !

Stopped in for lunch as heading through the area! First, Williamsburg is a charming town with Colonel vibes, many stately homes & beautiful churchs (lots of them)! Stopped at The Butchers Pub as wanted something different. Had fish & chips; fabulous, fish was cooked perfectly as were the chips (real "chips" not French fries). Hush puppies were also great. My husband had Rueben & said it was very good! Service was also great!

You will feel nothing but warm welcome when walking into this little pub. If you're lucky enough to have some live entertainment from a local college student, have him sing Tennessee Whiskey... you'll get goose bumps. The bartender (maybe the owner?) is a hoot. Our waitress was so friendly. The drinks were a little watered down, but it is truly this small town's hidden gem. You'll recognize it by the butterfly mural on the side of the building.
