The Butchers Pub

I recommend coming on out to the Pub in Pineville.. excellent food, good staff and see Olivia. Great bartender. I watched the Ky derby there.. Olivia never missed a beat. Want a hometown place to go!!! You found it. I recommend the crab Rangoon off the starters and the loaded tots!!

Well the butchers pub is NOT what it sounds like or atleast it wasn't for me the 1st time tht I had went there. Having "Butcher" in the name you'd think tht wld indicate the fact they'd have a buncha different types & cuts of meats. Well, you'd be dead wrong. Lol seriously. There is no steak whatsoever. The BEST item on the menu was a hamburger which to be fair was pretty good & The butchers pub does have a very cool background & atmosphere just not great food. Just alright really. When you walk in you feel like it's going to be nicer than what it actually is and therein lies the flaws of this "cld be" popular and cool little pub. Idk. Maybe it's just me. It's cool, dnt get me wrong it's just not awesome or amazing. I'd still go back to have lunch or something ya know. I wld give it 3.5 out of 5 ya know. It's straight really....Oh yeah they did have KILLER fries. So there's tht.

This is weird because I came at lunch with a friend. Because I am not from around here and it was a "pub" I wanted to try the fish and chips. This was a "nah for me dawg". The chips were good. The fish tasted too "fishy". So I am under the impression that good fish tastes like the ocean and bad fish tastes "fishy". This tasted too fishy for me. While I recommend eating her, I do not recommend the fish and chips. The server suggested the Ruben egg rolls and the burgers. I would choose those next time.

I stopped by The Butchers Pub with my friends to have a few birthday drinks. The bartender was so sweet and helpful as I was asking lots of questions about the TN moonshine. They stocked nearly 20 different flavors for sale as a shot. I tried the peach and loved it! I was served a peach in the shot glass which I thought was a nice touch.Pineville is a small town and this is a local bar. I cannot speak to the food as we did not eat here. The ambiance was cozy and the locals were nice.There was a small patio out back if you wanted to have your drink outside. But there were no chairs.The restroom was clean and I really loved the private booths near the bar. The walls of the booths went all the way up to the ceiling. You will also notice the Irish influence throughout the bar.

We've been to the restaurant a couple of times before with mediocre food and service, but last night was the worst. We attended a party in the upper room. Guests at the party had to take orders for everyone because a worker was not in sight. Several of us never got our food after waiting for over 2 hours! The ones that did get good said it was cold and awful. We ended up leaving to go somewhere else to eat. It really felt that the staff were far more concerned with serving the obnoxious drunk people at the bar than anyone else. Maybe this review will stick since the business is deleting any reviews of last night that have been left on their Facebook page.

It's a no for me dawg. If you remotely like yourself, please don't get the fish and chips. The fried pickles are nice tho

Went here for lunch and had the macaroni and cheese with fried chicken and it was awful. The macaroni tasted like it had been nuked in the microwave or just under a broiler and was cold. The breadcrumbs on top tasted like they had liquid smoke and left a horribly sour taste in your mouth. The chicken on the macaroni was good however. Our waitress was very kind but this was a disappointment. We had a few bites and left.

First of all this was not our first stop here since we live locally. We were greeted at our table by a gal who didn't even bother to smile. Appeared she hates her job since she still seemed angry when after waiting a long time for our check we got up to pay at the bar and almost couldn't wait to get out the door. I suggest the staff get some type of uniform. Wait staff looked a hot mess running around in oversized t-shirts and short shorts with hair flying out of a messy ponytail.Now to the food. We ordered an appetizer of Irish nachos. This is our favorite dish and get it every time we go there. After waiting way to long for an appetizer (I'm not sure if they know the meaning of the word) it arrived cold. Turns out the egg on the top had to be redone. Meanwhile the cheese is hardening. Finally, our entrees arrived. I ordered a Ceasars salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was tasty. However, the salad was saturated with practically a bottle of dressing. It was gross! I told 4 people who arrived at the table the issue and all I was told was "I'll tell them about it". I was offered another salad by one staff but after waiting so long for the order to arrive I declined. This would have been good customer service to comp that dish, but nope still charged full price. The ice tea was no more than flavored water. But my hubby said his Cheesesteak sandwich was good.They need to raise the bar a bit and clean up their act. Knock off the loud staff conversation behind the bar and make the customers feel welcome instead of biting our faces off when we sit down.I'll probably start eating at another restaurant when I'm in town. Hubby says he'll give it another try.

Philly steak and cheese is the way to go. Tried fish and chips which were good too but the sandwich had anUnique sauce and good grilled veggies that put it over the top of the fish. House fries were good too. Outstanding service wish I'd caught her name but she was friendly prompt and efficient.

We visited the area for the Laurel Cove music festival in June. We are here one day before heading to the festival. We enjoyed our food and drinks. Server was personable and attentive.
