The Bucket

Read that pepperoni rolls were invented in WV and we tried them for the first time. Think it's pizza, not flat but rolled up and deep fried. I don't know how many calories they were. Had a first bite when it was hot. Crispy on the outside and chewy inside. I ate 1 piece and could already feel the higher risk to obesity and heart disease. Hubby ate 2 pieces. They were quite greasy and we suggest getting the smaller order. We had no idea how big the rolls are hence we got the large order. Servers seemed friendly and the clientele was not diverse at all. Ample parking in the front and they accepted credit cards.

Spring and summer are our favorite times of the year to visit The Bucket. Since moving to the area in 2020, The Bucket has been a favorite of ours at first because of the food, but then the staff have also made the experience whole! A couple of summers ago we started doing the brunch, and the biscuits & gravy and the Bloody Mary's are perfect! We look forward to this again!Today I ordered our food online when I was about halfway there--ANYTIME a business allows Apple Pay, I'm in--and it was ready for pickup at the bar when I got there. It's a 30 minute drive back home, but the burgers and fries were still piping hot. Our go-to there is a South of the Bucket Burger for him and a Hangover Burger (the lil' Sasquatch) for me. The burgers have always been good, but let me tell you--for the last six months or so, they have been OUTSTANDING!! I do wish we could bring our dog to the deck (we can still go to one of the benches way out, but you know...) but we totally understand that inconsiderate customers ruin things for everyone. Other than that--we look forward to our next trip!

We stopped in one day after Jeepin' and had the amazing fried pepperoni roll! The staff and atmosphere was terrific!

Food, service, beer, and atmosphere was amazing. I wish we lived closer because I'd be there all the time.

The food came out pretty quick and our burgers were tasty. I'm not a fan of wedge fries so I just had the chips which were really good. Service was just ok, I would have liked my drink refilled without having to flag the waitress down.

Meh. We came here because we struggled to find a place near our hotel that was even open on the evening we were there. Service was slow. Live music was so loud we had to move outside for our daughter's sake. Kids' Mac and cheese was literally Kraft. And the mandarin oranges came in the package. We enjoyed our sandwiches when they finally came. Just greasy bar fare, but yummy. Chips were just ok. You never know until you try them, and I wasn't in the mood for fries. My husband got the fries. Also just ok. Three stars because the sandwiches tasted good. I am feeling generous.

Service and setting were great! First time here and would totally come back next time we are passing through. Burger was huge and the pepperoni roll was chefs kiss!

Awesome chicken sandwiches! Great place with a patio, live music, and amazing deep fried pepperoni rolls.

I've been here so many times I can't count but never said anything about my experience. This is by far the best place for Cajun dry rub wings. They are amazing. The ghost pepper burger is great as well. I had the jalapeno cheese sticks for the first time today and I'll never get plain again. I've had other items on the menu and it's always good but I really come back to the wings. I will be back again for sure.

Pepperoni rolls hot and delicious. Ordered for pick-up but had a bite before leaving the lot. Hot & fresh is the best way to go.
