The Brick at The Red River Gorge

It was a very cute coffee/ice cream place. Love the atmosphere. They also have pottery classes and there was a wide range of pottery throughout the building. The ice cream was totally amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even had vegan ice cream. My wife has a dairy allergy, and she was excited to see a small country shop having an option that she could have. My wife really enjoyed it. She said it was good. She got the chocolate.

This is a super cute store and the ice cream is very good quality. It's just store bought ice cream - I wish they offered locally made hand crafted options like crank and boom or graters. Would be nice instead of just basic brands. The cost is $5.85 for a two scoop cup or $7.85 for a waffle cone. I watched two people in front of me get the two scoop cup and the attendant filled it FULL - then when she scooped mine it looked like half the size of the people in front of me. I checked and asked them what they ordered because I thought I ordered a smaller size when compared but we all ordered the same thing. Oh well. When you scan the photos in the other reviews - you'll see the two scoop cup well over the top. Mine was just level with the top and the more I see these photos the more cheated I'm feeling. Would I go here again? Maybe. Would I go out of my way to go here again? No.

After a long day of hiking, this was just what I needed! They had a variety of both classic and unique ice cream flavors to choose from. I chose a bananas foster and it was AMAZING. The service was also very fast and I had my ice cream almost immediately. Very cute little store. I will definitely have to come back soon.

Off the beaten path we go. While driving to get firewood, we saw this little shop and decided to stop in and check it out. i am so glad that we did. we were greeted by the nicest girl who was extremely helpful with our first time. they had a great coffee menu and different selections to help any coffee drinker. i ordered an iced latte with almond milk and caramel. it was so delicious and one of the best that i've had from a smaller mom and pop owned shop they had an entire ice cream counter with so many different flavors and even vegan options which was extremely inclusive and nice to see. there was a room with t shirts and ceramics that were handmade for not terrible prices. the girl said everything was made offsite and brought to restock weekly and that there's always different things. we definitely are going to stop here again when we are in town! check it out if you are in the area!

Loved this place! My boyfriend and I visited here during our trip to red river gorge. Parking easy, and interior was cozy, clean, and cute! Workers were friendly. I appreciate how they offered multiple dairy free flavors! Portions were also very generous for a good price. A small has two scoops so I chose a scoop of vegan chocolate and one of vegan cookie butter. Both flavors were delicious! My boyfriend really liked his strawberry and peach flavors too! Would definitely return.

This place was so welcoming. The girls working were so nice and helpful. The blueberry waffle cone ice cream was so good. My son loved the cookies and cream milk shake. I asked for a chi tea and it was made excellent not too sweet and great flavor. I asked the girl about the restaurant across the street and she explained the menu and her favorite things on the menu and what to try. Great customer service y'all!! Thank you

We stop here every time we visit the gorge. Great shop for coffee and ice creams. Both items are very good and the milkshakes.are excellent. Love the cozy atmosphere and the staff are always very nice

Delicioussss food!! Nice environment, kind people, the Gorge is a special place! It's very convenient to get to, park at, and is close to some trail heads.

Great coffee! In house coffee was exceptional and I even took home a bag of freshly ground beans. I have been enjoying them every morning since. My family also ate their ice cream, GREAT ICE CREAM! Very friendly staff.

They did a great job with this little stop. A place you want to sit and enjoy inside or out the view is good. Had a good variety of ice cream including vegan cool pottery to purchase and coffee as well. Would return for sure!
