I love this place! We've been here two times during spring break with my kiddo!I love the selection of items they have to paint. They give great instructions on how to achieve the look and color you are hoping for. Anyone can paint!!The prices are listed on all the ceramics and there are small to large pieces. You will have to leave your art for about a week before it's baked and ready. They also offer glass making and clay pottery classes. They offer spring and summer break camps too!!You can walk in any time to paint, which I love! This is a great rainy day activity! There is not a studio fee that most played charge. Great service and experience! Plan to be here an 1-2 hours.

What an amazing way to spend with my best friends on a Saturday! We had our own table to paint and giggle at! You may bring in your own food and booze! Which we DID ;) I had to kick off a quarter of a century the right way. Ya feel me?! I picked a large beer mug to pour a pitcher of coffee in during the day and a bottle of wine at night. I picked the sun and the moon add ons to go along with my morning and night feel! Sun for coffee and a moon for wine ;)There isn't a studio fee! So the price on your item is all you pay. After a few days you can pick up your beautiful item!! I can't wait to pick up line! I will post that picture later!!Lindsey was a doll and set everything up for us. On top of all that, I forgot my plates, cups, wine opener, napkin... Pretty much everything at home! And she dug around to find all of that for us. She really went out of her way to assist us and explain the best way to paint our items. After four hours of painting and laughter, we left! I seriously can not WAIT to go back!!!!! It beat out every other place in Kentuckiana that I have visited to do this.

This place was pretty cool, me and my wife had a date night. So we tried the spinning wheel of clay, needless to say it was way harder then it looks in the movie ghost. The teacher was great and had us spinning in no time. The cool thing was if we thought the items were good enough, for 10$ they will fire them and color them for you. Of course my wife wanted them all, so we kept 4 out of 5 LOL, was a really good time and would recommend for date nights or just a cool thing to do on the weekends.

I actually patronized this business back when they opened in The Summit (under different ownership I believe). It was a regular spot for me and I still have the things I painted over 10yrs ago! I never had a chance to visit in Westport Village. My husband and I decided to skip an impersonal movie for date night and I suggested this alternative because I've enjoyed it in the past. The young lady working solo in the store (Paige) was great. Helpful without being in your face, also very friendly. My 2 biggest reasons for 3 stars are: price and selection. The prices have drastically increased from the last time I went and did this. $28 for a regular sized coffee mug is a bit much, sorry. There's no way to rationalize that. After tax, you're exceeding $30. For a small mug. No. Unless I get to do the pottery myself Even some tiny figurines were still $20. Actually, I didn't see anything under $20. On top of this, the selection of items that weren't overpriced plates or bowls or mugs weren't really all that varied. We ended up painting a multi piece item we could paint together instead of getting separate pieces. This was nearly $40 but seemed a better option. For some, price doesn't matter, but for many it's unrealistic as a regular activity, which I would love for it to be as my husband and I really did enjoy ourselves. I'd love to try the glass fusion at some point, but it would take a really beautiful piece of pottery to get me back for that. Keep in mind: you don't leave with your piece of art. It has to be fired in a kiln and you get it about a week later. No deal breaker for me, but if it's a last minute gift, go elsewhere.

I took my granddaughter today. We walked in and there were 2 employees/?owners there. 3 other customers. We had to seek out employee to ask how it worked. We were told to pick out a piece to paint. Prices posted include paint. Expensive, I thought. Nice selection. That is the extent of help we received. I had to ask about paint, where were brushes. Employee brought out bowl of water and sponge. Did not give instructions to 10 year old. One employee working with her mother. Other employee stayed on her computer. Questions seemed to be a bother. It takes 7-10 days to get piece fired. "We will email you. ". Me: "sorry I bothered you". Will not go back. Will not recommend.
