Just stopped in to Celebrate Galentine's DayHad 2 Cinnamon Tequila Shots Service good ambiance eclectic wild & cool decorated for Valentines Day ...

the vibes are immaculate in this bar (given Bre or Hannah is behind it). the owners really care about the establishment and are more attentive to their patrons than most bars. the pin ball machines have served as great addition to the place. they used to do karaoke out back, then they moved over a new business (the blue aux) which the vibes CAN be great there too, but in my professional opinion, karaoke was much more welcoming when it was on alcoves premises. don't forget to check out the food truck in the back. they have unique dishes that are insanely delicious and can't be replicated anywhere else. all in all, this establishment is worth the visit.

Amazing patio space in a venue that hosts unique and fantastic entertainment - from music to burlesque and drag! There's food attached to the patio in the form of tacos/roti and it's absolutely the best. All around one of my favorite spots to perform and grab a bite at.

I called The Alcove, asked to speak with a manager. The gentleman who answered said he was the manager. I then asked if he knew if a wallet was found down there last night and his reply was, "he didn't know. I would have to come down and look". I then proceeded to tell him before he rudely interrupted me that my my card that was in my wallet has a charge from there that I did not make and before I could tell him that I hadn't even been there, he rudely interrupted me again stating and I quote " that's a problem for you and your credit card company." I tried to explain I had the charge reported and he then hurriedly and rudely reminded me I could come there and look for the wallet?! This review is for anyone who visits there, the Manager is rude and gives zero care on how they will take cards even if they are stolen and not give two thoughts about it. This local speakeasy that was once a nice place to visit has run its course. Not only have I had this experience others I know for a fact have had worse. To the Manager...lighten up and care about the people who get frauded under your watch! Zero stars if I could!

Small dive bar that is loud and happening. Tried the hazy double IPA on tap which tasted great!

Great local bar! Bartenders are super fun, great drinks and reasonable prices. I'd I loved here, this would be my regular place for sure.

Had a blast hanging out with my friends there. Will definitely be returning. The set up was nice and I was surprised how nice the staff was.

The Alcove has a very relaxed feel to it. The lighting is dim, but it's not too dark. There's music playing the background, and quirky decor throughout. There was a wide age range of people here too. The bartender who was there during my visit was super kind! There's a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Since it was chilly the night we visited, we went for the Wassail. This was a homemade cider, and you can choose what shot to put in it. It was DELICIOUS! If you can get this drink, definitely try it out. I can't wait for my next visit to The Alcove and I highly recommend that everyone stops by here!

Ambiance is great. Very diverse clientele. And very friendly. Garden patio out in the back.The night we were there a bachelorette party arrived to party the night on.

Downtown Jeffersonville hip hang out, neighborhood bar. Great vibe. Fun music. Feels like the locals funnel here at the end of the night.. there is a fun community feel to it. The bartenders rock. I've only been to this bar in winter and its always lively, so I imagine the outdoor patio with warm weather makes this the place to be. Cute safe street. Walk the big 4 bridge then pop in to the Alcove. And just so you know , there is Only one bathroom
