First time in Lexington Ky, not a bad golf course. Wish I had played better. Very resonanable golf prices

Decent muni course. Greens are well tended as is the rest of the course. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Not a bad little community course. Not super challenging, but relatively well maintained. Lots of trees and generally straight holes, but also drivable holes that and reachable with a good driver and a wedge. Clubhouse was pretty dated, but the younger fellow behind the counter was super nice and offered a ton of advice. Played on a fall afternoon wit temps in the mid 50s and the course was near empty.

Showed up 2 minutes late to our tee time due to an accident on Tates Creek road and the short old prick in the pro shop was inconsiderate and rude. Tried to tell us we couldn't play at first. Old pricks are also all over the course and one group behind us had the audacity to yell and say hurry when we were waiting on a group of 3 old men in front of us. The vibes out there are awful and the course conditions are mid. There are no carts girls whatsoever. Definitely avoid unless you find a GolfNow deal.

Ranger is a just a prick, course is just a bunch of old guys being rude. Definitely would avoid it unless you find a hot deal, I'd recommend Connemara or anything other than a Lexington public course all these old men are just unhappy and unpleasant to be around

This used to be a nice place to play. Now it all about getting money from people. There used to be respect for the customer, but that's gone as well. I go out to play on a Friday. I am solo. There were a few players there. I had caught up to a threesome. They were being held up by 5 people on 3 carts. Only 3 of those people were playing. They were being loud and obnoxious. No respect for the other players behind them or play adjacent to them. They never once offered for the people behind them to play through. After being there for 3 hours, I ended up skipping 2 holes to get ahead of them. By this time, the weather started getting bad. I played 2 more holes and decided to end my game short. After putting my clubs in my vehicle, I returned the cart and made a complaint to the simpleton behind the counter. He preceded to tell me that they knew they were out there but they thought 4 of them were playing. If I am correct on this, there is only supposed to be groups no larger than 4 people. And golf etiquette is if you are slower than the players behind you, you offer to let them play through. Then the simpleton behind the counter makes the excuse they have been drinking heavily. He never made any offer to compensate my round or offered any apology. He proceeded to try to explain but I just walked away. Poor poor service. There are too many nicer courses in Lexington and the surrounding area for lesser money to play. Do not waste your time or money here.
