Tates Creek Animal Hospital

There is nothing worse than having to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to a beloved four-legged family member. Yesterday, I was forced to make that decision and it gutted me. Being new to Lexington, I did not have a vet yet, so I called the one closest to me to see if they could help my little guy cross the Rainbow Bridge. Everyone here was kind, compassionate and very comforting through the entire process. Dr. Sullivan was the consummate professional and really was the silver lining to the worst day of my life. I want to thank them for their kind words and compassion, and am happy I have found my new vet for my other guy.

We have had animals all our life and this has been the only vet that made us feel welcome, wanted an safe. During COVID was a very scary time to leave our pets alone at the vet, but they made us feel like we were the VIP. Our cats loved them, the prices were outstanding, and the care given was fast and accurate. Doctor Sullivan is very intelligent and kind, and the vet techs are helpful and funny! These people obviously love animals! Tate's Creek will be our vet forever!

This place is wonderful! Taking our dogs there was a stress free experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They welcomed us and got us back to an exam room quickly. Dr. Sullivan was so nice to us and our dogs and talked us through what she was doing as she was doing. I could tell she cared about the well being of our pets. She gave advice in a way that was easy to understand and follow and answered my questions. She encouraged us to reach out if any new issues came up or our dogs got worse. All in all this was a great veterinary experience and I am glad my dogs won't be dreading future vet visits! I highly recommend Tates Creek Animal Hospital.

Absolutely the best vets I have ever been to. Thankfully they do have emergency hospital type services as the other notable place in town is terrible (overpriced and greedy). Very personal service and caring veterinarians. I was so pleased with the emergency service and treatment. And the follow-up service was just as wonderful. Highly recommended!

Yesterday was my first time going to this provider. Let me just say even without meeting anyone in person except the tech who came and got my dog, everyone was sooooo nice. The doctor called me about what she planned to do with my dog's treatment but she was so personable. She actually had a conversation with me and was so pleasant and sounded like she really cared about my baby. I will most definitely go back to them again for annual check ups. I felt safe knowing my dog was being treated well even though I could not be in the room with her. I also loved that I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and everything was taken care of. Another great thing about them is that they give you prescriptions with your check out papers so it's a one stop shop. Loved this place!!

I took my baby kittens here that are sick they are the most caring passionate vet I've ever been to! They made me feel like they've known me and my sick babies for years! Thank all of you!

Everyone at this clinic from reception to vet tech to the veterinarians is extremely professional and polite - a rarity in customer service. In addition, they were very accommodating for urgent concerns for our pets. They genuinely were concerned about the dogs and their well being. The doctors were very clear about their thoughts on what may be going on, they explained all the treatments and options and were upfront about the cost associated with each option. I truly felt I could make an informed decision about the best care for my pets and my decision felt supported by the vet. I am new to the area and to the clinic but have had two separate encounters with urgent care for our dogs. Will definitely return for the routine!
