Came here on a cold night craving some Thai food. I can't say that this is the best Thai food I've ever had but for Lexington standards the Thai food definitely hit the spot. We ordered the steamed dumplings and crispy cheese as appetizers and everyone preferred the crispy cheese over the dumplings. I would describe the dumplings as your standard bibigo dumplings and the crispy cheese is basically a creamier Crab Rangoon minus the crab. The pad Thai has a different style of noodle than I was used to but had a great taste and kick to it. The pad see ew was delicious but felt like there was more meat than noodle. I would recommend for takeout as there really aren't many tables available inside but could make for a nice quick bite with friends or a date. The server/host was very kind and accommodating! If you're looking for something to kick the Thai craving I would recommend it!

Great spot for an authentic Thai taste. We always love to come whenever we are in downtown. Our favorite would be Pad Kee Mao, Basil Fried Rice, Pad See Ew and of course a Thai Tea! Every taste great with an amount of spiciness you can ask when ordering(we love a spicy food so we prefer to do a Thai hot level which is so good!!). Highly recommended when you are in downtown. Small place with a big bold flavors!!!

I recently had a hankering for some Thai food, while in downtown Lexington. It was late in the evening and starting to rain and the thoughts of some good Thai food hit just right. While finding a parking place in downtown, Lexington was tough on a Saturday evening, Taste of Thai was worth the walk. The service was excellent and because of the late hour we were the only people dining inside the restaurant. This little family owned and operated business looked, felt, and tasted very authentic. The decor was typical for an Indonesian restaurant. I ordered pad Thai, medium spicy. It could've used a bit more chili, but otherwise was delicious. If ever in downtown Lexington again in search of a late night Thai fix, this place will be it.

I needed a quick, early dinner in Lexington before a work event and Taste of Thai was nearby and open at 4.30pm. I ordered the Taste of Thai roll and pad thai with vegetables. The pad thai was a tad bit dry and bland but with some soy sauce it came to life. Service was very quick. Prices are very reasonable, and portions are generous. Overall, it wasn't a particularly memorable meal, but it was a decent meal.

Not a large menu but tasty stuff. The flavors were more authentic if you order the spicy dishes. Nice service, comfortable seatings for a group, recommend!

Taste of Thai - A Hidden GemLooking for a hidden gem that serves up a culinary masterpiece? Look no further than Taste of Thai! This cozy spot near the university is an absolute treasure trove for food lovers. The highlight of my visit? Their Pad Thai - it's so incredible, it should come with a warning: "May cause uncontrollable cravings!" Each bite is a perfect symphony of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors, with just the right crunch from the peanuts. It's like a party in your mouth, and everyone's invited! The portion sizes here are fantastic, and the pricing is just right. You get a generous serving that leaves you feeling full and happy without breaking the bank. In a nutshell, Taste of Thai is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out - your taste buds will thank you!

Really loved having lunch at Taste of Thai! The food was fresh, hot and came out quickly! Their Tom Kha Goon soup is some of the best I've had anywhere and was loaded with veggies and shrimp. Absolutely loved their Pad Woon Sen-stir fry glass noodles as well, which had a savory charred flavor and came with a side of rice and plenty of veggies. The whole meal plus tip cost $30 and I had leftovers. Highly recommend this place for a great authentic Thai meal!
