The food is AMAZING! The service is great, always super nice and fast. And the surroundings are beautiful. I definitely recommend going, this has been and always will be one of my favorite places to eat.

Went here once recently and wasn't that impressed. The seater wasn't that personable but oftentimes that happens at places but the server was friendly. The food was decent but nothing amazing. I felt like the overall place was kind of dirty. The tables and menus both felt like there was some kind of residue or something I'm not sure what it was but the place didn't feel that clean to me.I got the hibachi chicken platter. I didn't really care for the teriyaki sauce they drench over both it and the vegetables. If I had known they were going to do that i would've asked for it on the side. The salad was good but the soup tasted almost like a miso powder they mixed with water. I wasn't a fan. It didn't taste fresh. What I was really disappointed with was the fried rice. It looked and tasted like brown rice and just had a tiny bit of egg in it-that's it! I've never had such poorly done fried rice before. I'm sure every Asian would be disgraced that they call that fried rice. Overall decent but not in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

Loved it! Stopped in for appetizers, stayed for the wonderful hamachi grilled items! Drinks are good, too, but the best part was the service!

This was a go-to for my family growing up, but sadly, the food quality has drastically declined over the years. After being gone for college, I was shocked at how bad it is now. Before getting into the negatives, I just want to say that Brynne is a fantastic server. She was so sweet and accomodating, and had nothing to do with the negatives of this review and experience. As for the food, it was horrible. The Crispy Beef portion is the same price as in the past if not more, yet the portion has significantly shrunk, and it was not crispy at all. In fact, it was soggy and felt as if it had been bathing in the sauce and reheated in a microwave. I didn't have much of the General Tso's, but it was similarly bad.Worst of all was the Chirashi Sushi Don. I am a college student with newborn cooking skills, but I can and do prepare better sashimi than this at home with cheap grocery store fish. The presentation was nice, but the taste and feel was tasteless, not fresh, and/or freezer burnt, depending on the fish. It was almost inedible, but my partner ate most of it anyway because we hate to waste food. The manager cited this as a reason not to give a refund, in a very customer-blaming way.The manager's response to us telling the server that the sushi was very bad and we couldn't eat the rest was this: he came to the table and asked what the problem was. We explained in the most respectful way possible, but he pressed for more details. I didn't appreciate my partner being put on the spot to prove that the food was bad, but he very kindly and respectfully explained what the issues were for each fish. After this, the manager essentially said, "Well, this is West Virginia. We don't have an ocean near us, so of course this was frozen." Yes, we are also Asian from this area and understand how to keep fish lol. But it was freezer burnt, tasting like a freezer and feeling like it had been frozen, thawed, frozen again, and so on. We have sushi frequently, also in WV and other landlocked areas, and we understand the limitations. But it doesn't justify genuinely bad, unprepared, poorly stored fish. He talked to us with a smile but condescendingly, as if we didn't understand how sushi works. After this encounter, we were shocked that the our bill was full price. We asked Brynne if we could speak to the manager again, to avoid getting her in the middle, because we weren't paying full price for sushi so bad we couldn't finish it. He didn't come over, instead giving us a10% discount, which did not even cut off half of the price of the chirashi. My dad paid and spoke to the manager after to speak about the disrespectful response and lack thereof, and the manager continued to not give a proper apology or refund, laughing it off and saying "thank you for the feedback, it will be better next time." I think it was clear, but despite this being a staple for us in the past, we will not be back after this experience and consistently bad food quality.

Good food but lousy service. What more can I say other than the wonton soup was very salty but I like it like that.

We need the whole world, all of us, all of the diversity, all of the cultures- period- full stop.We are traveling from my previous duty station, Scott AFB back to MD. We are in a hotel for the 13th day (plus a long drive). It is Thanksgiving Day, 2020.So the most 2020 thing, is to have Thanksgiving dinner, as carry out, from online ordering, while watching golf from Spain, waiting for the Dallas Cowboys to play.We were hungry (it takes a while to get from idea to execution with large menus...lol) however, I think this place has good food no matter what time of year or how hungry you might be. All of the flavors were spot on, especially for a college town in WV. [Not knocking small towns, just by comparison to NY, LA, SF, etc) so it is praise. We had...Bangkok Spring rolls, Vegetable Roll sushi, Squid salad, Vegetable Tempura, Thai Fried Rice (chicken), and Vegetable Lo Mein. If we are back in the area someday we will return to the place that gave us a Thanksgiving meal, and indeed I am grateful. Imagine a world where we all worked towards the same outcomes for all people... The menu alone would blow our minds!

Great food. Steak was cooked perfectly and Pad Thai was great. Waitress was very nice and I love the small booths with dividers you can sit in. It was my birthday and I'd suggest not getting the complimentary deep fried cheesecake. It tastes like melted custard and grease. Although it was free. Maybe just ask for it plain.

Been dozens of times. Go-to dish is yellow curry and it's in my top three out of dozens of places that I've tried around the country. Service is friendly and good ambience.

Have visited this restaurant many time over the past 6 years. I do come to eat alone, but I have not once ever been denied seating at the hibachi grill until today. I was hungry for hibachi but if a business is not busy and not willing to accommodate a customer I will find a place to eat elsewhere.
