Tammy's Country Diner

Friendly staff and great food. Waitresses very attentive. Breakfast is awesome and their plate lunches are great too!! Highly recommend if you are in the area and craving a nice home cooked meal.

I stopped for lunch on a Tuesday at 1:30 pm and the place was so busy, I had to wait for the only table open to be wiped down. I was seated after a few minutes and the owner came right over and took my order. This place doesn't have a lot of ambiance, but it was clean and looked in good shape. There was a special menu by the cashier. The regular menu was half breakfast and half lunch/dinner. It was not a large menu, but everyone should find something. One thing for sure, this place is extremely reasonably priced. Everything on the menu was very reasonable. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. I was served my lunch after about a 5 min wait, which considering how busy it was, was faster than I expected. Everything looked good. It was not the largest piece of steak, but you got way more than the price they charged. It was served with a hot buttered roll, which was soft and very tasty. The steak was tender, and the breading was very flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth. The gravy was not too thick, but just right. I wish this place was close to my house, I would eat here all the time. I can't wait to come back and try something different.

It was ok.. nothing great.. but People was great!! Had homemade pies!! So I really liked it there..

Stopped in for breakfast for the first time. Diners are the go to for us but this diner just wasn't very good. The food was cheap but fell short on quality. The pancakes were very dry and had no flavor. The hash browns is just a frozen patty deep fried with no seasoning. Tammy waited on us and was nice which is why I gave 3 stars for service.

Nice place, clean and the food is top notch. Come early if you are having dinner they close at 5pm. We had breakfast the food was great and the prices were reasonable.

Stopped for breakfast. Good portions - just the right amount of food. The prices are unreal - so cheap. What you would expect from a small town diner.

The service was pleasant, I called before going because I was in town looking for a breakfast place and the pleasant attitude over the phone got my attention. I placed a normal order and everything was good. The reason for the four stars is because the grits were instant and not homemade and tasted funny...I also had pancakes(super fluffy ) eggs cooked just how I liked them and home fries with pepper and onions. My brother had a biscuit sandwich which was just the right size not too big or too much. If you are in the city and need a down home feeling breakfast place then look no further.

Thought I'd give this little roadside diner a shot waiting on my dog getting groomed really glad I did it's was 11:20 and it wasn't very busy they were very friendly and fast the food was great I will be back

What a great small town country diner. Totally a place the local frequent (I heard many people say 'just give me my usual')But we were welcomed and made to feel right at home. Service was quick and efficient and a true bargain for what we got. It was your typical breakfast fare: bacon, eggs, ham, sausage, biscuits/toast. Simply prepared but fresh and delicious. We vacation in the area often and will put this on our list of breakfast places. Would have given 5 stars but while the atmosphere was quaint it does look old and a little worn.
