Tacos El Tio

First to review is a strange position for me, but this was a great food truck experience and I wanted to share. Very nice, but inexpensive, street tacos area win in my book. I have zero affiliation with the place, so the high review here is based on my personal experience. We ran into this place while visiting Pivot Brewing, a hidden gem in Lexington not too far from the more famous Mirror Twin. I was tempted to head for the tripa (intestines), lengua (tongue), and cabezza (head), but settled for more traditional flavors.The prices are excellent with street tacos from $2.50 to $3 a piece. Coming from a city where food trucks usually go at a premium (most worth it), it was a nice departure. Tastewise, it was very good. Got both the red and green sauce and each was impressive. I would definitely recommend if they are at a brewery near you.

Awesome food they catered for our company taco party. We did a taco bar with the steak, chicken, and chorizo option all were awesome. Great pricing great food the red sauce has a kick but not overpowering. My husband favorite was the chorizo, but I like the steak carnita with red sauce radish cheese and cilantro. Amazing and will definitely do it again.​

Had a wonderful day at the park with my family and great food. We had delicious shrimp tacos, fish tacos, a large chicken quesadilla, and they even grilled a special hamburger request for my picky toddler. They were so nice.
